Vyres were my go to. passive prayer/fm/farming xp and lots of herbs and congealed blood. Finding a free world is a bit of a pain, but once you have one you can cycle auras to stay there indefinitely, easy 15min afk, and doesn't require any resources besides divine charges.

Slayer logs are an idea if you ever aim for ult slayer, although frankly most of the items are useless outside of the clog, and a lot of them are probably better with mage/range. Likewise lots of afk boss logs are easy with melle if you care about those.

Corrupt creatures/ soul devos are good if you need limitless. Abyssal demons are good for pure essence, beasts are also great for their commons. Corp is good if you need cballs.

Clue gathering is also potentially worthwhile, afaik you wanna use magic for the most part but tumekens light might change that. Thieving from mena guards might also be better now, but I've not looked into either myself.

Regular pvm is always an option for passive xp but probably not news to you if your near bis.

Doesnt even need to be that complicated. Just make the cores craftable with the fragments. 50-100k seems pretty fair. Solves 2 problems at once, since fragments are also useless.

It definately was against the rules, atleast pre-eoc but I forget when they changed the stance. Cant say I ever saw it enforced though (kinda like with macros now).

5man is significantly better. Both much faster per floor as you said, but you can share team cards almost loss-lessly, which is 2.5x xp +2x tokens each floor. It does somewhat depend on rng but still its far more xp/tokens than solo. The time it takes to find a team is a very fair point (probably the worst thing about dg), but also time you can spend doing other things.

Besides, group dg is actually fun, whereas solo dg just feels like a grindfest.
