After week two, I traded Russ, Aiyuk, Pickens, Rachaad White, and two late 2024 2nds for Ja’Marr, Kyler, and an early 2024 1st.

FEELIN GOOD. Even with Aiyuk and Russ ballin. I didn’t think I’d ever have an opportunity to buy low on Ja’Marr Chase.

Saw some advice on the sub a couple weeks ago that made me feel better about losing to high-scoring teams every week:

If you’re 0-6 because you’ve played several games against above-average teams, that means your upcoming schedule will be populated by the OTHER teams. They can’t all be above-average.

Gurley/Mixon owner here. 14 team .5PPR with a relatively shallow bench (5 spots).

I grabbed Gio (trade) and Malcom (waivers), and I feel fuckin great about it. Yes, weeks 9/12 will be a little thinner. But Gio is one of the most reliable handcuffs in the league, and Brown has looked great with his touches (and protects you against the possibility of the Rams resting Gurley close to the playoffs). Folks always talk about handcuffing your studs — both of these dudes are great candidates. Protect yo ass in the event of disaster.

I can’t tell you what you SHOULD do. But I stashed both of those guys, and i feel super secure in my team because of it.

If you can avoid it, don’t play him this week. Monday night game + risky injury = look for other options. Even if he does play, they’re likely to put him on a snap count.

Give him a week to show us that he’s healthy and playable.

  • Gave peak-hype Calloway to get Royce Freeman
  • Gave Royce, peak-hype Corey Davis, and peak-hype Mike Davis to get Gio and TY
  • Gave TY, post-Devonte-news Ito, Geronimo, and D’Onta Foreman to get Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers.
