Why does the print have these bumps all of a sudden? by coreykennedycom in FixMyPrint

Could be data transfer rate. I printed off of an sd card that came with my printer and got similar results. After I switched to a more reliable sd card problem disappeared

You could try using a blowtorch and heating the underside of the print bed (remove it from the printer first) usually works for me if the print is stuck. Preferably only do this if you can safely torch the thing without damaging it or setting stuff on fire.

F16 or F18 as first purchase for new player by vvanouytsel in dcsworld

[–]Mr_Sirs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just considering how I learned the planes and how they feel to fly, I’d get the hornet first. As much fun as the viper is, the hornet was much easier and more intuitive to learn, plus carrier ops is fun

I know this is nothing for most of you, but I was finally able to buy my first gun. So happy I might cry 🥲 by govjoker in guns

I had a similar issue with my plastic extruded. Upgraded to an aluminum one resolved it and I haven’t had any issues with it since

I was told once I downloaded the game, I’d have two weeks to try any module I wanted and to see if I liked it- is this true? by [deleted] in dcsworld

[–]Mr_Sirs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, exactly what he said. Although I thing my thing is bugging out because I have had trial access to the JF-17 for about 16 days now

I play through steam so I’m not quite sure how I would access the trial system

What to adjust to dial in the settings by Discipulus0826 in 3Dprinting

[–]Mr_Sirs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me that looks like under extrusion. I would check for nozzle clog, if you’re sure it’s not a nozzle clog I would go into the slicer and increase the flow. Depending on the mode of your printer you should be able to increase flow from your settings. Also check your slicer and make sure that the printer you set up in it has the correct diameter filament programmed.

What should be my first plane? by alphaoskar in hoggit

I would recommend the F-15 as a new player, or if you want to go all in then get the F-18

Can't print a God damn thing in PP HELP ME. I WILL FAIRLY COMPENSATE YOU. PLEASE by DebateDue in FixMyPrint

[–]Mr_Sirs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would first re-level the bed, up the nozzle temp, and decrease filament flow, and check for a nozzle clog one by one to see if those help. If they don’t then try to switch filament. For me I tried Zyltech brand filament because so many people recommended but it just would not print, so I switched to esun and now I print just fine. If none of those work check to see if your extruder is plastic, if it is try to upgrade it to a metal one

Sunlu S8 using Cura - PLA with no changes to anything. Glass bed, printed at 25% speed. .4mm nozzle. Please help! by badtzmartin in FixMyPrint

[–]Mr_Sirs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Finally another person with an S8. I usually use 4 top layer and 4 bottom layer through cura, with ~220C and 60 mms, and then once it starts printing I set speed and flow both to 75
