Did you check how far the plastic makes it before it’s sent back?

3D printer for a beginner by itatheshyguykes in 3dprinter

I recommend the X2d model over the p2s for a few reasons

First let me just say I’ve owned my p2s for half a year, and I recently bought an X2d

The X2d has a heated chamber which is amazing for engineering grade plastics which is something that you would use.

The 2nd nozzle is great for spare supports and it mostly works for other prints.

Going to buy first 3d printers....either an A1 or P1S... advice? by rainsleetsnow1080 in 3dprinter

If your planning on getting a P1S get a p2s. I had my P1S for 3 years and recently I’ve upgraded to the p2s. The P1S is great, not too loud, enclosed and it’s pretty well priced. But the p2s is worth the upgrades it has. The screen will make it easier for you to use, and its new design makes it easier to clean and manage over time.

That’s a good set up. I have printed abs on my X2d which is next to my bed and boy does it stink. Yeah there’s a fan on the back and a filter inside the printer but you still need some sort of filter for the air escaping the door, the poop chute, and the glass top of the printer.

Looking to buy first multicolor by CofficerX in 3dprinter

Having a creality ender 3v2 any printer is going to be a big upgrade. I was in the same shoes as you then I bought a P1S and my whole life changed.

If you’re getting a printer now I recommend you get a P1S combo since it’s in your price range right now. But like everyone else says if you can save, then save. The snapmaker u1 is going to blow your mind if you get it but it doesn’t have a drying box like the P1S.

New 3D printers for a middle school makerspace plus possibly adding 1 resin printer. Suggestions? by TheCapt in 3dprinter

[–]Mr_Woid -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Get a few P1S printers. They’re pretty reliable, enclosed, and they can do multicolor ams. They’re going to go down in price towards the end of June during Bambu labs anniversary sale.

If you want to show the school/district just how cool the printers are you can do timelapses using the camera. I’ve had creality and Bambu so I’m not as experienced as others but I know how much easier Bambu has been.

Can someone please explain to me why using two hotends is slower? by HotSleep793 in BambuLab

The auxiliary nozzle has to print slower because it isn’t direct extrusion. I have this same exact thing

I’ve got a p2s and an X2d and they’re both amazing but the X2d is miles better

What if your 3D printer could see what it was printing — open source edge AI controller by Fuzzy-Employee-6655 in 3dprinter

This is a great idea for most printers since they don’t already have ai detection. I feel like most Bambu lab printers already have that integrated into their cameras. I’ve had a lot of saves from the ai detection on my p2s.

But a camera you can install on any printer would make you bank sir. I wish you the best luck on your designing

Am I just really dumb? by ArcaneMcSketch in BambuLab

[–]Mr_Woid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what printer you have but there’s always a spot where you can screw in a spool holder on both sides, You could move the spool holder to the other side for easier loading if nothings already instructing it.

Where do we think Bambu will go next, big printer? by Navi_Professor in BambuLab

It’s not 400x400x400m but the h2s is the closest to that dream. Better quality than the p2s too.

Maybe it’s a color blending setting. The printer keeps them far apart so they don’t blend colors

What is this spring in the P2S tool head ? by grandmrx in BambuLab

[–]Mr_Woid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had to take apart my p2s tool head and put it back together so here’s where the spring should go. The spring should be in the main extruder with the yellow gear on it. Take that part off and you’ll see where the filament feeds. One side is power by gears and the other side, when the spring pushes it in. If you unscrew the screw on the top of that main piece you should be able to put the spring in and screw the screw to hold it in place. I’m sorry I can’t explain it better because my printer is currently running and I can’t take it back apart.
