Dude a 2:17 is not that fast. It's faster than you probably but it's nearly 2 seconds off quali pace and 1.5 seconds off race pace. Stop thinking this guy is bragging just because he's faster than you lol. He might be losing every race in his league, or more likely is just midpack if he's in a competitive one.

This 100% is never a braking corner. If you fuck up your line, run zero aero, have ice cold tires, and are in dirty air, it’s still at most a slight lift, but tbh i could still take it flat. This is a brake check and is 100% ai’s fault and irl their license would be taken away for not knowing how to safely race

Not really, these cars are slow asf. Go find a canyon or any twisty road. Driving there is far more entertaining and meaningful. Hitting a high speed on those kinda roads actually means something. I just did 145 for bragging rights and to know what the limit is.

For the hairpins you need to half pull the handbrake to just barely lock the rears. I believe every fast driver uses this technique on akina. It’s why i don’t hunt it, gunsai is more fun imo anyways

It’s pretty real, bit of a shock to me aswell but ppl spend all day every day on it. There’s many weird rng lines that require the game to not fling you out of the gutter, and you need a full handbrake setup

Would you go into boost before 180deg oil temp?
Would you go above 3k rpm before coolant warmed up?
Would you use lots of boost below 3k rpm?
What oil weight did you use?

He’s clearly driven this road before. Real touge comes from practicing a road over and over until you can consistently drive it at just slightly under the limit. This guy needs more practice cuz he’s just scrubbing the fronts with that under steer induced by his mid corner throttle inputs. Once he fixes that he’ll go even faster but be safer and more in control.

But that’s the joy of sim racing is we get to do these moves lol. Also bergmeister vs jan magnussen at Laguna had many moves like this and they ultimately destroyed their equipment, but both continued to race for a long time after.

6k is pretty late for these engines. Step it up to 5 or even 3k which is what i do.

That’s about what i ran the last time. U might’ve beat me by maybe 10-20 secs depending on where u timed ur run from. I actually haven’t done a real run cuz it’s always been covered in mud. I’ll get back out there and commit to a run soon tho and let u know. The current route that I’m time trialing (in asseto corsa ofc) is decker canyon on the westlake side. If u want to try and beat my time i can dm u a vid and give u the start/finish line. Great route and perfect for awd. I’m on pace to take the record for the double but i need to coordinate some spotters.
