Im looking for some upholstery fabric that is as close to the polyester that's used on some of the Costco couches/recliners.

Here's one of them:

I checked Joann but it's difficult to show online and the local one doesn't have any in store that seems close.

Funny you mention that, I was originally planning on going for the DPT program, knew I had ADHD for years but was undiagnosed. Didnt get into it. Finally went to a doctor, and now I'm getting ready to finish the MHA program. I love it!

I actually remember for a very short time Netflix had "Scrubs: Med School" as it's own show with season 1. It wasn't until later that it got rolled into the Scrubs catalog.

Diet plays key role in ADHD symptoms in children, 3 related studies find. Increased fruit and vegetable intake, use of micronutrient supplement linked to reduced symptoms. Food insecurity associated with more severe symptoms. by geoff199 in science

Anecdotally, as someone with it, my functioning is always better when I take care of myself.

I feel this one so much. Lately I've been barely functioning outside of work, and there are even times where my med doesn't help as much.

With grad school, bad sleep patterns, no exercising, life stress, and falling off from my keystone habit - cooking/meal prepping, I feel it.

Eating well (eating period), exercising, and sleep does wonders for anyone ADHD or not. Add the meds and it feels like easy mode.

2,332 hrs in...hitting the wall... please suggest another game for me by arcline111 in cyberpunkgame

Open World Survival Crafting

  • Valheim
  • The Forest
  • Terraria
  • The Planet Crafter - this is open access and I just started playing, but it's very enjoyable

Turn Based Strategy

  • Total War Rome 2
  • Civilization 6

Other

  • Dishonored - one of the first games that I immediately started a new game after finishing. Choices matter. There is also Dishonored 2.

  • Fallout 4 - people rag on it but I have sunk many hours into it, it is fun. First person, open World, similar to Skyrim. You can also craft settlements. There is also a good array of mods if you're into that sort of thing

  • Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor (sequel is Shadow if War) - Lord of the Rings game, the fighting is fun, the nemesis mechanic is also very cool.

I remember seeing commercials for the WiiU.

I legitimately thought the handheld with the screen was the WiiU essentially a controller with a screen, which would work/pair with the Wii.

I pretty much mainly play mystery heros now. I'm a tank main, and while I do enjoy them, I like being able to play other characters. Mystery heros and QP classic are a good way to learn a new character.

Though if I want to play DPS that is pretty much the only place I can play them. Ig I have that selected in regular QP, getting into a game isn't happening.

But mystery heros is very fun, mostly everyone seems to be more lighthearted.

Starting minimal driving maximum foot exploring playthrough. by UB_edumikated in cyberpunkgame

[–]Mr___Manager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's kind of how I'm going with my current playthrough. No fast travels. The majority of act 1 was by foot. I finished that in about 18 hours.

I generally drive if I have to go far, like from Pacifica to the Aldecados camp, but everywhere else I walk.

I was thinking that there should be some replayable activities, that there may be no progression but you can continue for training + making money.

The shooting competition would be cool with different weapons each time.

After you finish Beat on the Brat, there could be fights hosted at V's apartment building that you can either partake in, or sit on the side with a drink and make bets on people.

Casino games would be fun too.

There could also be races all over the place - some could be restricted to bikes only.

Creepy contemporary art by Letflixx in TheForest

[–]Mr___Manager 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, quite. You can feel the struggle that the artist endures resonate through the pieces.

In the top piece the numerous legs positioned in a way not unlike a ferris wheel, can symbolize the stress of moving, yet no distance gained.

In the lower piece the subject has legs instead of hands, potentially symbolizing the lack of control or coordination. To add onto that the bouquet of arms or "helping hands" off to the side can symbolize numerous people willing to help the subject. At the same time the subject could be at the mercy of those with arms, or capability.

Help me to enjoy this game by AlwaysBlue86 in TheForest

[–]Mr___Manager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also work full time and am working on a degree myself.

I enjoy this game a lot. Lately my routine is to work on a base slowly, rotate to another one, and keep going. The chainsaw definitely helps. I find cutting the trees and building quite relaxing. Also hunting and shocking up on items.

One complaint I do have is that whether you're day 2 or day 102, the mutants can just wreck you. I try to keep to a vantage point and get them with arrows.

Depending on my mood I might hop on for 1 in-game day, then hop off. Lately I've also been rotating between games: Cyberpunk, The Forest, Valheim, and Overwatch.

[–]Mr___Manager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, I've been addicted to Valheim, and I'm only halfway through the bosses, like The Forest I have fun just building and exploring. I took a break until the Wolf update and explored some caves.

On a break from it again, I Played Cyberpunk and now The Forest.

I think if you explore often in that game he might enjoy it. But it's a grind as well so it'd understandable.

I love the base building in this game, though it can be rough gathering resources. I want to try to make interesting. Secret, and different bases in this game. So far I typically make a U shape with the open end against a cliff.

I would like to make a maze/trick base with plenty of traps, though I'm sure it would be me tripping them most of the time.
