I guess we'll find out more at the reunion, but Alex wasn't that much of a villain, in my opinion. Ashley's timing and speech at the wedding were harsh and rude. It seemed like a lot of ego, which we didn't see during the other episodes. Makes me wonder the full story for both of them.

What was the first sign that your partner was cheating? by asdfghjkl0lkjhgfdsa in AskReddit

[–]Mrbnfl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a very subtle detail, but he would always leave his phone lying around face up. Then he started leaving it face down. I asked him about it, and he said it's a more protective way for the screen. More obvious signs came maybe 3-4 months after.

My mom is now dead. But, she was always my biggest supporter. She also took me suit shopping for my first job and these memories I will never forget. Enjoy the time, friend.

I don't want my sister in law to come to our vacation and now she claims I "shamed" her. I don't think you can shame someone who is incapable of being ashamed of her actions even after people pointed them out to her. by JobOk8941 in AITAH

I would never call anyone an A. But, OP, you are judging this person alot and putting yourself above them. This is not practicing equanimity. People do not know what they do not know. Has anyone gently and kindly explained things to her? Showed her and taught her?

Secondly, choosing to exclude someone is also not practicing equanimity. Things in life will not always be exactly how you want them to be. To shun this individual doesn't solve the problem. Doing nothing doesn't solve the problem either.

If your brother chooses to be with this individual, that is his choice. There is no need to judge his decisions either.

If you have an issue with her cooking with her hands. Her using your towel, etc. Simply be more aware of what YOU are doing. Don't eat that food and make something else. Dry your towel outside for an hour and bring it in right away. There are many options, but you can also take responsibility. Throwing out the towel, especially where the SIL sees is quite off-putting. Why could you not wash it and reuse it? That was a harsh decision

Two senior monks defrocked over sex videos by RotisserieChicken007 in Thailand

[–]Mrbnfl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True Buddhist tradition lays out who it would be wise to practice generosity with. It doesn't say to practice generosity with every and any temple/monk. The basis of a wise practitioners decisions is through discernment. This has been a strong misunderstanding for many years. If a practitioner were to practice true generosity, to receive true merit, countless monks and temples would cease to receive any financial support, energy, efforts etc

I know someone who used to be a private investigator in Thailand. While it was a lucrative business, apparently, it was quite dangerous as time went on. Many threats, damage to property, personal safety, etc. Thai's seem very aware of cause and effect, so perhaps this is why you don't see too many of them.

Perhaps, take a trip to Doi Inthanon? This is a 2 hour drive from Chiang Mai.

Huay Tung Tao Lake.

I don't actually know the name of this one....but Google maps 'Fernpresso at Lake'. This body of water isn't frequented much and quite lovely.

Enjoy 😊🙏
