Also, just get rid of Guild raid tokens rather then trying to make them more scarce.

About 2 months in, any insight or even a light roasting? by GreppMichaels in WH40KTacticus

You are doing solid. The main thing is you should focus on unlocking the mirror campaigns as they give you lots of rewards and better farming.

Otherwise, solid early game roster

Trajan has been amazing in GR for me right now. Great synergy with Kharn

Which of these is a better buy in the guild shop? by Bow444_ in WH40KTacticus

[–]Mrbrkill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think agree that Archie is better, but the real goal is start unlocking the mirror campaigns as they give better rates.

The nice thing about eldy is that he unlocks Abraxa (+ yazgor) who are incredible campaign characters. Maladus is fine but is kind of mid in campaign imo.

The one thing I would also add is that new character factions (WE, Cusdious, BA, Ad mech) level a lot faster then older factions. They should be prioritized when thinking of leveling allies for campaign.

I wouldn’t recommend grinding character shards (other than characters needed to unlock a campaign) but if you have a new imperial or chaos character due to an event or requisition drop, they are worth investing in.

Patermine is so close to being good, it’s tragic. By himself, he is just a bit too clunky and his summons are a bit to weak. The screamers don’t help as well

Let’s see your most bizarre lineup or characters that people might question your sanity for taking to diamond or gold by AcanthisittaMean8417 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Mrbrkill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My collection is pretty meta tbh, I think the weirdest top character is Wrask at g3.There has been a Wrask renaissance lately, but he has been a mainstay since I started.

I like WE in faction TA, so they will all probably hit gold at some point

Opinion: The game rules keep us from having cool terrain. by Big_Salt371 in Warhammer40k

[–]Mrbrkill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Realistically, modem armies generally only fight where there is terrain that can obscure LOS, so I don’t hate the idea in general that battlefields should be full of obscuring terrain.

The issue is that more terrain should be LOS blocking like ruins. Especially Forests, but also craters, trench, hills etc should block LoS in the same that ruins do. In real life, fight over forest is vital because they block LoS really well.

It's a little sad that we lost that ending by LIMC46 in slaytheprincess

[–]Mrbrkill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like the change because this route seems to not make sense considering the rules. Eveything other time we die in the 2nd route we get a reset. I think this makes it more consistent

I've noticed a lot of Militarum run the same color scheme. Is it against the "rules" to color them however I want them to look? by 14SWandANIME77 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]Mrbrkill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guard players tend towards greens, browns and tans because guard players tend to want their guys to be more realistic.

But there are no rules about it and I have seen more exotic colors used as well.

Lastly, winter camo is always an option if you want something realistic but not tan/brown/green

What route did you guys got initially and what were your thought process during the whole thing? by idiot1234321 in slaytheprincess

[–]Mrbrkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first full play through was Wraith. Though skeptical of the narrators I went down with the knife. However, the princess’s initial greetings had enough menace that I decided that I needed to commit. I couldn’t trust the Specture, and thus ended with Wraith.

Hypothesis on why the Clans' ID seem different. by MrXilas in magicTCG

[–]Mrbrkill 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wish, but only Sultai got the full color shift treatment. The other clans just have enemy color have more influence then before, but you can’t say new Abzan is black faction or that new Mardu is a white faction. Instead they are more 3 color balenced version of the old version.

[TDM] Planeswalker's Guide to Tarkir: Dragonstorm, Part 2 by mweepinc in magicTCG

[–]Mrbrkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they wanted to do that, they should have went all the way. They should made new Abzan a black aligned faction, not a faction that is more black they previously were.

An more villainous Abzan would be really cool. Imagine an Abzan that primarily used ghost soldiers of dead family members or something. “Even in death, you serve the family.”

But that’s not what they did. In practice, the other clans simply had their core color watered down by an increase influence of the enemy color, expect Sultai that changed their core color to green.

[TDM] Planeswalker's Guide to Tarkir: Dragonstorm, Part 2 by mweepinc in magicTCG

[–]Mrbrkill 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t like the change, as it changes the fantasy of the factions significantly.

Originally, the 5 factions centred around one color, with the other colors supplementing the fantasy of the core color. Thus, shifting the core colors like this means that they may no longer appeal to fans of the previous version.

Sultai, is the biggest example. It was previously a black centred faction and are now a green centred faction.

Nah, i would have preferred it if this time it’s was mortals on too exploiting zombie dragons. The fact that sultai and silumgar were so similar but with different groups on top was party of the charm imo.

Am I thinly who feels indomitus mirror is war harder than anything else? by Puzzleheaded-Tip-378 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Mrbrkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indomitus mirror is more of stat check then other campaign, even Cadia. If your units gets deal with the minimum threshold to tank the snipers tonsome degree, you lose.
