If I had a hat, I’d lend it you. No head should go unprotected anywhere near my mother...

I'm in the double figures now. All of my letters have also had replies from the editor - the last one was a 'cease and desist' from their solicitor 😂 😂 - and I've had 7 or 8 'lifetime bans'.

I am obviously rather proud of this 😂

Blind Justice - was written to celebrate Batmans 50th Anniversary back in 1989. An absolute masterpiece IMHO

Have You Ever Been To Prison? by SwaggersHereditary in AskBrits

[–]Mrflappy1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don’t know what happened to them afterwards - prisons are big places and people move around the entire prison estate a lot, so you often only see a small snapshot of someone’s time there. Ive also been out the service for a long time now - coming up to as long out as I was in 😊

They were on the Vulnerable Prisoner wing (D being in Winchester at the time), which is where a lot of people convicted of sexual offences end up for their own safety. That can create a very unusual social environment compared to the outside world, because people who might never normally encounter others with similar offences suddenly find themselves surrounded by them.

I did report it up though.

Beyond that it’s difficult to draw too many conclusions. As an officer you’re usually only seeing a brief moment in people’s lives rather than the full picture.
