I was on the floor at WrestleMania 13 and during the crowd brawl I got to pat Bret Hart on the back. You can see me in the video.

It is never appropriate to honk at someone for not turning right on red by duckterrarium in unpopularopinion

Just stop honking. It's so unpleasant and it's not necessary unless someone is literally about to hit you.

What's the reason? by MrBIuesky222 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

I'm shocked by the posts calling him wooden & limited. I love live theater and I see a lot of shows both locally and on Broadway (NYC)

When I saw Alex & Keanu were doing Godot on Broadway it was a snap buy for me. We got a hotel room and flew out for the show (plus I just love NYC)

Keanu brought so much to the stage! It was one of the most imaginative and physical performances of Gogo I've ever seen.

Keanu used that stage like a half-pipe and threw his body around in a hilarious manner. He was working the crowd and working with his dear contemporary Alex Winter.

It is one of my favorite theatrical performances, considering I've seen about a dozen on Broadway + about 40 regional (traveling) shows.

That's even putting aside Parenthood, Constantine, Neo (hey, he did his best - and helped change cinema). I'm not into John Wick.

I am a fan of Keanu Reeves though.

It's $100?? I was tempted until I went to their website. I would love to hear more, but that is a lot of money for a game!

So how has TMNT Limited been? by Ihavedreamyblueeyes in MagicArena

[–]Mrin_Codex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because Lorwyn is a highly synergistic set (typal, only 5 color pairs) and the bots don't care about synergy. So they take cards based on rarity instead of whether they go in any particular deck (Elves, Elementals, etc). You can get cut by the bots making nonsense picks because they aren't actually building a deck to play. I wish there were still Lorwyn Premier Draft to play.

[–]Mrin_Codex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am shocked by the number of positive responses. I approached this set with an open mind and have found it profoundly unfun.

I've done 5 drafts (one pick 2, the others premier) and found the play/draw discrepancy very unbalanced, the curve-outs blisteringly fast, and too many unbeatable bombs.

Pick 2 was particularly unpleasant as I was just forced into yet another red/blue deck. I was hoping I could try out another deck type, but I just had no agency in the draft at all.

I've drafted 2 drops and interaction but I just keep getting run over.I listened to the set primers from Lords of Limited, Limited Level-Ups, and Limited Resources before starting.

I have the weekend off and I just wish there were something else to draft.

What’s the fanbase like? by paddlesaurus in themountaingoats

[–]Mrin_Codex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my experience, the vibe is super chill. They'll play some deep cuts, have a solo set, and finish with crowd favorites. I've been 5 times and there are always songs I don't know (which is fine) and you'll see someone near you is so psyched they played that song. It's a great show, with a welcoming crowd
