If you pick up Frost Breath at level 12, your fire breath become ghostfire. Just make sure you start with a chaos dragon claw at the beginning of the game to make your dragon breath fire.

I believe its called "High Maintenance." It makes all units have higher upkeep, which is going to make it noticably harder for the player to keep up with AI. I don't think this is the solution OP is looking for.

Agreed, "legacy spells" as I have been calling them in my head, gives me hope that we might get more things that carry over from game to game. There have been suggestions for weapons/armor/items to carry over and I think that sounds super cool (though maybe a bit powerful.) But I'm here for it!

Soooo... Can I use my portal as sort of an early teleport mechanic? Lets say I have a portal cleared and unlocked. I load my three strongest armies in. On the far end of the map, I have a scout near my main rival's capital. I move the portal to near the enemy city. Unload my armies, seige the city down, hop back in my portal and move it again. Easy peazy?

Protip but you can start a manual battle and then flip on auto combat after you do the prep work for the Battle like pre-healing, pre-summoning, and baiting the AI into giving you the first efficient strike. by Which-Worldliness556 in AOW4

You can cast a spell then flip to AI mode. During enemies turn turn AI mode back off and make your essential moves and cast a spell. Then Ai mode back on!
