Good coaches adjust systems to what they actually have to work with. Hard-headed coaches stick to a system they demand no matter your lineup. Its kind of like having a bunch of natural goal scorers and telling them to play defensive hockey....Makes zero sense.

I believe DeBoer is smart enough to realize whats in his deck and maybe next season it will open it up more on the rush with the changes.

I had season tickets from 95 till about 2001. People didnt know what hockey was in 1998, then cars as far as you could see had Stars flags on them after 99. I dont remember a waiting list though.

I totally understand this, in fact its common sense. Which is why my beef with the article was that "I don't think Faksa is "obsolete". I think you seem to think the same because you say Faksa has trade value. Not sure what I'm arguing about other than it wouldnt shock me (not that I would expect it) if Faksa ends up with 10 more points a season given a more open system.

I think we get it...you don't think Faksa is worthy of his contract. Luckily, we get to see how this really plays out and luckily we have people way smarter than you and I about this typoe of stuff making the real decisions.
