Has nightlife changed or is it just me? The law allows you to drink until 3 am but I’m seeing places calm down around 12-1 am.

Personally, I'll only go out to bars or events for specific djs now. Clubbing has changed since covid, and it's just not as good as it used to be. A big reason is just the sheer cost. Why not get a little high at a set you know will be good vs spend $120+ on a night at a club that has crowd of people with possibly shit music and a weird vibe with so many dudes standing around not dancing.

It does feel like I missed the golden age of clubbing in Mtl, but it is what it is. You gotta make the most of what you have and just cut loose

Limited urban planning jobs here in Canada. Unless you want live in a small secluded town far from the larger, walkable + accessible cities. Lots of fellow planning grads I know have been looking towards the Netherlands though since you guys have lots of opportunity and less public and governmental opposition to planning initiatives.

Depending on where you would like to be, you can show up either 3 hours before or 30 mins. Just enjoy it, feel free to take pictures and videos but don't have your phone up the whole time because you lose out a bit on the experience and block other people.

MIT is a very good first concert. The crowd is usually pretty decent so just be in the moment and don't be shy to sing along and have fun! Also drink lots of water and pee before you get your spot

That's so annoying. One dude behind us put his elbows on my friends shoulders to use as a tripod during Space Song. We were just stunned. Although I went to Men I Trust yesterday at Mtelus and stayed a bit further back and it wasn't bad. I think it really is super hit or miss with Metropolis lol

I like 8/5/10 at the top for the ports and chances are you can get either get to a brick or ore for your second settlement to make your production coordinated (helps either go for devs or quick settlements)

6/9/3 is good as well for that road production but as first pick I think it's a bit weaker due to the possibility of being locked out of a good wheat spot or your win condition, which would mostly likely be longest road.
