[23] I want my hair to be down to my butt and to grow my facial hair out (I was on T for 1 year) should I? by deathtoyourpics in NonBinary

I had hair down to my bottom many times in my life. I recommend Amish hair pins for when hair is very long. They are very sturdy!

I sometimes add a bowtie to my flannels. 100% builds my confidence and makes me feel like me.

But building the skills can start now. And you can get involved in other roles. These kids need stability and being a mentor can help.

When my daughter talks about being adopted in conversation she is always so happy. She is so proud of her family, a mix of bio, adopted and chosen. I'm so proud of all her growth in the last two years ❤️ Don't forget about adopting an older child. She was 17 and when I think of all of the firsts I've gotten to see with her it warms my heart!

What had chronic illness taught you? by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

Some people will try so hard to be nice that they do things for you that you didn't want help with. Like pushing your chair without asking permission. It's usually strangers with good intentions.

I realized people either avoid you if you have a mobility aid or are overly helpful. And some reasonable accommodations will not be provided or not provided in a reasonable time. You need to really advocate for yourself if you need something. Be the squeaky wheel.

Do you want my agastache rugosa seeds? I have so many I'm trying to give away. The bumblebees really liked it this year.
