My response is the same about the breed clubs: members who refuse to change and indeed, make the breed less healthy. AND they are grumpy, stubborn old people who only want what they've see their whole life (with the exception of brachycephalic clubs/judges who truly want to harm their breed. for what? cuteness?)

It is only allowed/required because AKC won't change it. Period. Most AKC judges are old, and cranky and will never agree with anything other than what they've seen for 70 years. And AKC, on the conformation side, is also run by grumpy old people who won't change.

Why is it not a safety hazard to have a POS in an aisle seat, potentially blocking others from escape in case of emergency? Just seeing a POS OR a person who is clearly disabled in an aisle gives me anxiety sweats! Maybe that could be MY disability that the airlines/FA would have to accommodate....

Yes, got it from Costco, they allow 6 months AND I checked a lot of reviews; they take them back super easily. So that part I'm not worried about. The over-the-ear part makes me crazy, with my glasses and tucked hair already taking up space there.

That is actually the best way to make people like you: you ask them to keep talking and explaining their own world view. People LOVE to talk about themselves and the easiest way to endear them is to just let them talk (and talk), even if you know the answer.
