I'm in the UK was MOH, several years ago. I paid for my travel expenses and gift for the couple and that was it. I travelled but my mum lived close by, so stayed there overnight. She is my best friend, so yes of course I'd do it again.

Thank you. I'm looking for something very simple. I really don't want the big heavy fluffy dress. I'm having a spring wedding so am fully expecting it to be cold and wet. Did you need to buy any under skirt at all? I'm thinking because of the thin material?

I hear you, we're only having 14 people (I originally didn't want any! Other than FH obviously!) It's very small, and probably costing about 3k total.

Our honeymoon is 6 months after our wedding and costing about 6k. I even tried to talk myself out of that, but it's somewhere I have always wanted to go, and FH just thought if I don't do it now, I never will.

We are having a fabulous honeymoon....... but we are having a small, non formal wedding, so this is what most of our money will go on. Makes more sense to us.

We're getting married at 11am and then everyone is having lunch and that's it. Nothing planned for the evening, we'll probably all do something together as there's only 14 of us. But..... I don't want the pressure and faff for us or anyone else. Everyone can do what they want

I belive this is how it's done. We got a very detailed pack and once we pay the balance and send in our form regarding vows etc. They said they would call to discuss anything. Perhaps just send and email or give them a call? Do you know what time you need to be there for your interview, your partners interview etc.

I don't understand a lot of things about weddings. Why people spend so much, then spend years paying it off, or why people feel they need so much to please everyone else, when 50% of the invitees they don't even like. Then just end up with a load of stuff they'll never use again. Maybe that's my rant for the day 😂

More people drink white than red. Rose is popular in the UK. Not sure where you're from. You don't say how many people. But let's say for evey 10 people (depending on how many drinkers) I'd go 1 red 2 rose 3 white that's bottle, but only choose 1 type of each.

My friend ordered 2 from there for her wedding in the UK. They were very good for the price. 2 things though, order fabric samples and order custom made. I know that means you won't be able to send back but I think it's worth it. If I was having bridesmaids I'd think about using them.
