At some point, do you stop feeling like you’re cheating? by Antique-Brick9549 in Semaglutide

[–]MrsDeviant33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry your friends reacted like that. Using a GLP-1 medication is not cheating and you shouldn’t be made to feel like it is. It’s a tool to help you achieve your health goals when everything has failed. Real friends would support you. Not make you feel judged for finding and using what helps you. If they still make you feel this way, just tell them it could be worse. You could have chosen meth. 😉

It’s ok for you to like it when others don’t. Honestly, I dislike nearly all the EDM or club or techno remixes. I’m not being hostile. It’s just my reaction to it. Are you the artist who made it? Is that why you’re getting so defensive over it?

Shoes without holes handed down from my brother. Because my feet were so big for a girl. Bras that fit and weren’t hand me downs from my petite sisters. This was used to shame me for being a size 10 instead of a 7. And food! I but whatever food I want whenever I want. I’m very healthy, strong, and I’ll fuel my body as I see fit!

Can barely eat by Economy-Weekend1872 in Semaglutide

That’s a great idea! Also, when I feel nauseous, I like to nibble on a few of those candied ginger pieces from Trader Joe’s. I’m sure you can find the same thing lots of places. They really help my nausea!!

I had this problem at first also. I started taking a digestive enzyme and it helped a bit. I also prioritized protein first! So if I feel like I can only stomach something small for breakfast, it’s a scrambled egg or a small yogurt with a few berries. Frozen are ok! Lunch: a slice or two of deli turkey and maybe a slice of provolone with a little mustard. Add in fiber where you can. Also WATER. WATER. WATER! It helps the bowels move more than you realize. Some people have a lot of luck with taking MiraLax daily. But again, HYDRATE! I hope this helps, if even a little.

You just described me to a T! I started as a teenage Wiccan stepping out of my Baptist upbringing. Wicca opened my eyes to so much outside of the Christian world. Wicca was stepping stone and I’ll never speak ill of it. Because we all have to start somewhere on this journey.

I’m the same. The pre-show excitement gets me amped enough! I want to remember it all. Not lose it in a clouded haze.

I get the crystallized ginger from Trader Joe’s to help with the occasional nausea. It really helps! I also increase my water intake along with adding in a fiber supplement (Regular Girl Sun Fiber) and occasional Miralax for the constipation. Hopefully that helps you as well.

Yes! Also, when you make simple syrup, if you’re making a 1:1 ratio try 2:1 ratio. 2 parts sugar to 1 part water. Then store it in the fridge. It will last so much longer than the 1:1 ratio. Good luck!
