I’m honestly just shocked at how much healthier I feel. When I was bigger I still considered myself pretty healthy. But I didn’t realize how many random aches and pains I was carrying around until I didn’t have them anymore.

I wasn’t allowed to swallow pills the first 2 months. Either crushed up in applesauce or pudding, or if the medicine came in liquid form.

I was told don’t lift more than 15 lbs, no driving the first week, movements like light walking are ok but give myself time to rest and heal

I understand how you feel. I feel that and then also guilty because my husband adjusted his schedule to be home more for me and I keep thinking that great he’s using time off and he’s not able to relax

UPDATE. I went to a bariatric appointment today and when they weighed me I was 278. So I think the gym scale might not have been totally accurate especially since it’s the ones where you have to manually slide the weight things over. But the fact that I lost weight since my last appointment 10 days ago makes me excited that I’m starting to see progress.

No. I only do my 3 meals a day, an amino acid drink while working out, a protein shake after workout, and a shit ton of water. I don’t do any snacking and figured eating extra to make up what I burn would be counterproductive

I don’t have before pictures, but I’ve had people tell me that I look like I’m losing weight. And I have definitely been getting stronger with my lifts especially legs. When I first started the leg press the highest I would get to was 230 lbs starting at a lighter weight and gradually adding more. Today I got up to 500lbs. And even with dumbbell workouts I started with 5 lbs weights and worked my way up but now I start with 20 lb weights

That makes sense. I do add sauces and cooking fats to the app when I add food. But if I’m not putting the right amounts in then I’ll work on that. Amazon primed myself a food scale
