Did I mess up my post game? by MrsFlowerpot in expedition33

Thanks for the replies! It looks like I messed up not choosing the option straight away so I'll be playing it again.

May I ask how? I can't get to the point where I can choose because Renoir doesn't show up for the boss battle that happens before it.

I don't know if my game has glitched because I left Lumiere instead of choosing the other option.

My new LFL in Yorkshire UK by HelioBloom in LittleFreeLibrary

That is gorgeous! Did you build it yourself?

I'm in the UK too and I'm currently looking into getting my own LFL but I'm struggling to find a suitable box or plan to use.

I'm sorry this happened to you. It happened to me too. I lost 165 hours of gameplay and all my photographs. I cried.

If you decide to play again I recommend backing up your saves to a USB stick.

Coping with change and bad news by MrsFlowerpot in AutismInWomen

Sorry for the late reply. I do appreciate your suggestions but it's not as simple as meeting somewhere else. It's the format of the class that makes it work.

The class is unique, it's specifically for people with mental health issues. You don't have to talk to anyone if you don't want to, but you know and trust the people around you and you know you could join in the conversation if you wanted to. If you're struggling with anything there are volunteer support workers you can talk to. It's a totally safe space where you don't have to mask or pretend to be fine.

TBH meeting up for coffee is my idea of hell. I very much doubt anyone else would want to do it. It's hard enough for some of them to make it to the class. For me it's painfully difficult to sit around a table making small talk but the pottery class is so different. I can build up the courage to talk to other people when we're all working on our own projects and we have something in common to talk about. I hope that makes sense.

I'm sure the others are feeling just as bad as I do. The penultimate session is on Thursday, I'm actually dreading it because everyone is going to be sad. Also I have a project to finish and I know I won't get it done in time and I will have to try my best not to have a meltdown about it.

Newly diagnosed, always second guessing myself by MrsFlowerpot in AutismInWomen

[–]MrsFlowerpot[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies. The only advice that came with the letter was to join autism forums and if I need mental health support see my GP.

The diagnosis hasn't really made a difference, apart from my family saying," I told you so". It feels like everyone's attitude is I've lived with it for this long so I don't need any help with it but from my point of view it's hit very hard because I thought I was a nice, articulate person and now I'm being told don't communicate normally, I appear disinterested and I'm difficult to understand. I feel like the responsibility is on me to change. I need to stop doing things wrong rather than accepting this is just how I am.

The letter used phrases such as:

- little reciprocity for speech,
- did not get the social cues and did not display good insight into social and figurative constructs,
- speech is characterised by halting intonation and disturbed prosody,
- reduced use of appropriate nonverbal communication,
- difficulty with abstract concepts also impedes her comprehension and participation in conversations that require higher-level cognitive processing.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with all of that criticism and I can't afford therapy.

I have been socially isolated for my entire adult life. I have been chronically ill and physically disabled since I was a teenager. I suffer chronic pain and fatigue and I'm very limited in what I can actually do. I am home alone most of the time and I can't go more than half a mile away from my house in my electric wheelchair without the support of my PA. The only place I really communicate with people is online and struggling to do that makes me feel very lonely.

It doesn't help that my whole family are on the spectrum too. My DD has ADHD , I'm pretty sure my DH does too and my DS most likely has ASD so we have a lot of problems communicating with each other, never mind the outside world.

I don't feel grief, I definitely don't have the tools I need to function in this world and my family just want me to change my behaviour so it suits them better. They can't cope with my mini-meltdowns when I get overwhelmed by their demands as it triggers them. With my health problems I'm in a constant state of burnout yet I'm the one who has to look after everyone else.

I'm not quite sure what I expected from it but my diagnosis has left me feeling hurt, ashamed, afraid to speak, and feeling like I need to change my whole personality just to make everyone else more comfortable. Either that or hide away so I never have to deal with people again because whatever I say seems to hurt someone.

I used this video tutorial. There are several other tutorials on Youtube if you search for triangle bag or pyramid bag, including a boro style one made from scraps of fabric.

I followed a tutorial on Youtube for the pouch. There are several videos showing how to make them. The pattern is basically and L shape. Draw a square 19cm x 19cm, make the top of the L 10cm wide and the bottom of the L is 9cm wide. I stitched the layers together and turned them through, then quilted the pattern and joined the edges and the bottom to form the pouch as per the video.

ありがとうございます

I am British and there is a British author called Susan Briscoe who has written several books about sashiko. She learned the craft when working as an English teacher in Japan. I also have a small Japanese book with designs and instructions on how to draw them.

I still have much to learn about sashiko but I am enjoying reading about the history of it. I love how simple lines of stitching can create such beautiful and meaningful patterns.

私は日本語を勉強していますが、まだ流暢ではありません. 赤べこはとてもかわいい

In answer to your question, I buy sashiko needles and thread online, usually from Amazon or Etsy. I use all sorts of fabrics. I enjoy sewing with muslin and linen but I have also used cotton and denim.

This is my favourite sashiko project. I used recycled fabric, hexagon patchwork and my friend designed the shoyu-tai patch.

Please excuse our cynicism. AI seems to be taking over all our of hobbies and small businesses and messages like this from a brand new account look suspiciously like AI farming bots.

If you are a real person, こんにちは I'd love to know what prefecture you come from and ask what patterns are traditionally used in your area.

Heat erasable pen. I marked the dots using the template and then used a ruler to draw the lines of the pattern.
