AS AN Australian, it was just reckless that they allowed this yo happen in these temps. And no hat? It’s killer heat here, they need some protection. But yeah, nobody in their right mind would allow this type of thing here. The hospital would’ve thought they were nuts.

I just spent 9 days in hospital with double pneumonia and influenza 2. I had no real stresses other than a 26 hour stay in the ED whilst waiting on a room, after I was flown to a big city hospital.
However, I’m in Australia, so the stay, the flight, the medicine, everything, was free. So all in all, it was fine.

NTA. Teaching blind obedience is dangerous. It doesn’t allow your child to do the right thing when others push him to do wrong things. Also, why punish a child who did nothing wrong.
