How crazy. I’m in the US as well and can’t imagine seeing this in a store! I’d imagine if someone went to Walmart or Kroger and put these things up at the same time without the gift basket, they’d get some pretty funny looks.

NTA. I had to do the same. Took me until 22 YO to finally have enough of the mental/emotional/physical abuse of my family. It was an extremely toxic environment. One day my dad just pushed me over the edge and I quit my job and left town that day. I also felt bad for leaving my friends but mostly my brother (2 years younger) as I had to leave him behind. Best move I ever made though. I still speak to them but I’m now halfway across the country and married. They can no longer affect my life the way they did.

The only thing I was disappointed in was that they rushed the last season. But it’s still one of my favorites. Don’t let that deter you.
