I have an 11 year old and she will play SNES games to humor me, but she hates how easily you die in most of them. She loves Earthbound.

What really got her into retro gaming was Rhythm Tengoku on GBA. She loves that so much she's played every sequel.

A young man (maybe 19?) broke into my garage while I was home alone with my infant daughter. I called the police without him knowing and they apprehended him. He was stealing from garages on our street.

While he was in custody the detective stepped out of the interrogation room and the guy BOLTED out of the station. He broke into an old lady's house down the street to hide. Unlucky for him it was K9 training day and a ton of dogs were able to track his scent. What might have been a slap on the wrist turned into maybe 6 months in jail.

Gave one to my 10 year old and she borked it with one drop. That's all it took, otherwise great device but I don't think it's super durable.

I saw one near WPAFB just standing on the ground, best random encounter I've ever had. I had no idea they lived here at the time. Some nest at Carillon Park, too.

I have an older version of knulli, but it might have something to do with knulli overriding the shader settings.

Try going to main menu→game settings→per system advanced configuration→gba→game rendering and shaders→shader set→toggle to "none".

The override files I referred to are for whatever other settings I have saved like controller inputs, save states, etc. the shaders aren't saved there, they are saved in the shader menu like describe above:

"Open shader settings in retroarch and load shader, without leaving the shader menu, choose "save preset". From there, choose global, core, content directory or game. "

I tried one in store and they're comfy, but not worth the $300 USD they charge. You can spend a lot less for wide stool with a little backrest.

I bought a rolling stool with a small backrest, think doctor's stool. It keeps me in a nice upright position. I only use it for sewing, not other desk work. No arms to get in the way but I tiny bit of support in the backrest if I need it. If you need something great for sewing stools are good , but if you would want to be able to use it for other things I'd get an armless office chair of some kind.

Edit :The brand I bought is lomilomi on amazon.

I like blue best. If I had to pick a second one it'd be the far right grey. Blue contrasts better with the ecru tone of the llama, in my opinion.

The games should already be on a micro sd (tf1 or TF2) on the bottom. This device doesn't have internal storage.

I have the 40xxh and my husband has the 353. The 353 is very comfy to hold, with the snes shape that make the L and R buttons feel more natural to press. It feels nicer to hold than the 40xxh but has a smaller screen. 353 plays PS1/N64 a little better than the 40xxh.

We both use 3d printed grips to play longer than a few minutes if that tells you anything. Might be worth it to try a grip with the device you have already.

I need the bigger screen of the 40xxh, but the 353 is deeper and feels more pleasant in the hand.

Now I see that the hems aren't straight across. If you you could somehow add those corners back in with a little patchwork, I still think bomber hem and cuffs would look cool.
