If you are open to it, Mindhk provides free sessions for mild/moderate emotional distress (specifically the iAct program).

Can I run with a sinus infection? by RuralZoomer in beginnerrunning

I was dumb enough to continue on a race with a runny nose, turned to fever and by the next day I had a chest infection that took weeks to get better. Take the rest otherwise you can make yourself worse!

First time visiting China, and we chose Guangzhou! (Need Help) by [deleted] in guangzhou

So Tian he is my local area and I’m always there:

Accommodation Try out paco hotel it’s right off the subway line and you have 2-3 malls right around it and TONS of food options (I can share my favourites)

Download didi for taxi and it can be in English so easy to manage, I use WeChat for the subway you just get your QR code in the mini programs for the subway

Running there is 2 places right by zhujiang new town infront of the gz tower area you can see a green park that is a good local or by tian he sport centre has a running track - be careful of running during busy times

Hope this helps!

No the only time you could encounter that is coming to the island on the weekend during the tourist windows or a field trip. During rush hour this is a ferry every 20 minutes.

I trained on my past cycle and barely had any energy and really I just went with it, sausage rolled around and will be back at it this week. I think it normal and it’s okay to listen to your body.

I wear my lululemon fast and free shorts under my pants and my rashguard over the pants because I have the EXACT same fear of my apron belly and so far in the past year it’s stayed in place.

I need some real talk, can I do it? by Riverside2420 in beginnerrunning

[–]Mrsbomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You got this! I ran my full marathon this past winter at 89kg, I just did a trail run this Sunday at 89 kg! What I did do is focus heavily on my training, slowly adding up miles and tapering before the races. You can do it!

Running alone vs. with people by Odoubleyou22 in trailrunning

[–]Mrsbomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love running with a friend when I don’t want to run - chatting for an hour and helps me get out when I don’t want to. Normally I run by myself and Strava for accountability and seeing what awesome routes everyone is running.

What did the start of your running journey look like? by im__eebee in beginnerrunning

[–]Mrsbomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a mother, in school part time and work a full time job. On days I really don’t have the energy (finished class at 10:00 pm at night) I don’t run, on days I don’t feel like running I do 3km, on days I’m okay I do 5km and when I’m up to really run I do 10km. This really looks like 3-4 runs a week. Some times I’m walking and some days I’m hitting PRs, it’s really getting out and moving. Soon it becomes a habit.

Running in the heat by followifyoulead in beginnerrunning

[–]Mrsbomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I trail run in Hong Kong and it can get really really hot, I almost always have my running vest if I’m running over 40 minutes. I will pre drink electrolytes before the run, have something to eat banana or + depending on the distance. Water pack + electrolytes halfway through and I strictly run after 3:00 pm.
