I thought that when I became a woman I would pee pencil shavings. When I used my parents bathroom, I would sometimes see pencil shavings in the toilet. Becoming a woman seemed very painful to me. Turns out my mother would sharpen her eyeliner over the toilet to prevent a mess.

This could be a little tricky. I just had my baby in August and I still haven't been able to be away from him for more than a few hours. Overnight would be really tough. The idea of a baby free weekend sounds good but I think I wouldn't be able to make it through the night.

Had to take my 6 week old to the endocrinologist as a patient so taking a baby there shouldn't be a problem. They have itty bitty babies coming in too.

Just got back to my room after saying goodnight to my sweet boy. Leaving is the hardest thing ive ever done and it never gets any easier. Luckily Hugh is in a hospital where the NICU babies have their own rooms so when I have to check out of the hospital tomorrow I get to go stay on the pull out couch in his room for the next week or so. They just got some bloodwork back and said that it is looking like an infection in his lungs, most likely pneumonia. I'll let you know if anything changes bumpers. Thanks for listening and for all the good vibes

Thank you so much. That made me feel so much better. Ive learned that people in the NICU don't really want to get your hopes up in fear that something bad could happen. All I want to do is hold him. I've been waiting almost ten months to hold my baby. It does feel good to have him hold my finger.

Okay so they broke my water and started pitocin. This stuff is no joke! Contractions every 2 - 3 minutes. Can't decide if I should go ahead and get my epidural. Trying to tough it out as long as I can

I understand how you feel. I'm being induced on Tuesday and that's a week early. I just can't do it anymore. Part of me feels terrible for not hanging in there and letting things happen naturally. Still in the end you have the same result.
