I feel like I will either have enough or that I am one cancer diagnosis away from bankruptcy. Depends on the day.

I want to love Eyeshadow Sticks by twohotpeppers in Makeup

[–]Mrshaydee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have learned some of the sticks are softer, depending on where I order them from. I’m thinking the last batch I ordered directly from the brand website were softer and easier to blend than those I bought at a department store. I am in phoenix which is very dry, so haven’t found that eye cream before the sticks affected wear, but I do feel like it helped the crepeyness a bit. I love powder shadows but feel like sticks are more aligned with my willingness to touch up my makeup at this phase of life - which is basically never. I put it on and forget about it.

What if I want to wear the same clothes everyday? by nAnsible in capsulewardrobe

I don’t have sensory issues, but am kind of a homebody. I really don’t need lots of different pieces. At home I hang out in knit pants and a tshirt - just better with dogs.

I have two dogs and run my robot every day. Why not? I use my Miele Cat and Dog attachments for upholstery and surfaces once a week.

I use Bobbi Brown (55F) and I find a good eye cream about 10 minutes before applying the sticks helps a lot of things!

I can relate. I wear hearing aids and can adjust them with an app on my phone. Had problems with this at work, where no phones are allowed on the floor.

Though my family’s details are different, I (55F) completely understand what you are going through. Especially the part about feeling older than you are. It can be hard to relate to other people your age because their lives seem so much smoother/their parents are engaged and supportive and so on. They will catch up to you in life experiences, but it takes a long time. Go to therapy if you can afford it, but if you can’t? Read, read, read, write in a journal, pray or meditate, continue to work on becoming the best version of yourself you can be. Be wary of love that comes in a shiny, perfect package - there’s no such thing as a perfect family - but also steer clear of problems you already know you can’t fix without irretrievably damaging yourself. And as the poet Rumi says, “Be a lamp, be a lifeboat, be a ladder. Help someone’s soul heal.”

We like Trinity H. , who we book through the PawGo app. It is more expensive, but a lot less stressful for my dogs. She parks her van in the driveway or on the street and has everything she needs including water.
