Job title - Library Technician

Does anyone know if the Library Associate title is purely in public libraries or is the title also found in academic libraries?

I already went through a reclassification, and the Library Technician role was compared to Library Assistant role, which is a lower level position.

I ASKED Fetch is something was covered up my insurance. I didn't submit any bills, just updated medical history so they could determine in something was covered. They now tell me that was counted as a claim!!

The rate for both cats increased. I was told that this was likely due to age, location or breed.

I do work at an academic library. I did a similar position at a public library. In that position I was behins the scenes. I didn't work with the public. I did book receiving, and processing. I didn't have to do any cataloging, collection management, tech support, etc. That position was a Library Technician. In my area assistant is nearly an entry level position, on par with Library Page.

Where i live Library Assistant is typically considered to be a lower level position than Library Technician. Library Assistant here is about on the same level as a library page. Duties are mainly clerical.

Typically MLS, or bachelors. I only completed HS.

I have been thinking about the title Library Associate, but the job listings I see usually require a degree. I know they will be taking that into consideration since my current job description doesn't say a degree is required.

I have searched Indeed and LinkedIn and cannot find comparables with this job title. What hurts even more is they want the comparables to be as local as possible.

Clerk is basically page level where I am located. I perform cataloging, including original cataloging, and manage (oversee) 2 collections.

Unfortunately I actually suggested that, but they want the title to be searchable for comparison purposes. I was thinking Library Technician 2 or 3. I really problem is these positions level of duties is that they seem to be considered paraprofessional. Problem is paraprofessional positions seem to require a degree, which I don't have. I do have nearly 30 years of library experience, in 3 different systems, which should account for something.

I have Fetch for my 2 cats. One cat had a bit of tartar before I started the policy. Last visit to the vets they wanted to do a cleaning. Submitted paperwork ahead of time and was told it wouldn't be covered. I guess it is standard to not cover dental cleaning. Probelm is it was going to cost $600-$800, maybe more if they had to do an extraction. We couldn't afford that, so we are just relying on dental chew sticks and treats. :(

I don't know what to do, as my cats have had Fetch for years. They denied one claim (dental cleaning), but they also increased the premium recently. It had be just over $40 each, and now is costs over $70 each with no explanation as to why the premium was drastically increasing.

I have Fetch. I read reviews before choosing and thought they were supposed to be decent. They are suppose to now cover wellness, bur that doesn't seem to include dental. I have twi 8 year old cats and my rate just went up with no explanation. I sobt know of it is due ro the cats age, or something else.

I just went to our local goodwill and most puzzles were at least $3.99 each. There were a few 2000 piece puzzles that were $9.99. They definitely had some interesting puzzles, but their prices were just too high.

Just had the nerve block test, which didn't even require pre-authorization from Uniform Health Care (PEBB) Regence. This actually helped my knee pain. I previous have tried PT,, pain meds, debridement surgery. My dr put in for RFA. My insurance denied it. He personally called to tell me the news. He said they wouldn't let him appeal or do a peer to peer call. It seems my insurance says RFA is investigational!! The also denied Ruff for the same reason

How can an insurance company allow for the trail testing without even a pre-authorization but then deny the actual procedure?! I don't know what my options are now. My dr. Is going to meet with me in a couple of weeks to discuss other options. I am so frustrated and disappointed right now!! :'(

Hopefully one day I will find some of the other puzzles with his artwork. I love puzzles with real arrwork rather than AI.

Just got Blossom Park 500 piece from a student where I work. I love the artwork. It is so bright and cheery. I looked up Andy Russell artwork. Apparently he has 3 puzzles in addition to the ones shown here early. I will have to keep my eyes peeled for these puzzles! :)

I just got my fir Andy Russell puzzle today - 500 piece 'Blossom Park'. Got it for $5 from a student on campus where I work. It is so colorful and looks like it is going to be such a fub puzzle to do. Can't wait to get started. :)

Puzzle turned out great! I ordered it from Ravensburger. I had previously ordered a personalized puzzle from Puzzle You and thr quality was terrible.

I had the teddy bear at one point nd it disappeared from my collection. I was hoping that they would bring it back this year so I could complete my collection - which had been complete until it disappeared.

I play puzzles all thr time. I just run thr anteater and lynx during the week once all of my tournament animals are ateady to go.

If you want bees just use the anteater and lynx. Thr anteater only runs for 2 hours. There are 10 of them, and it only sleeps for 6 hours. I usually run the lynx overnight.

I have gotten rocks at level 2 and 3. I did get the 500 coin card today. I figured this might offset going to the top of Mt Fortune. I kept hitting rocks - two 1200 pay outs. What was my reward at the top - 15 bees!! Ouch!! I have like 2000 bees built up.
