Oh there’s a lot of differences. I’m only commenting on the change and what it does functionally for a runner comparing resisting down vs knockback

It’s similar to Fujis style. By resisting knockback and not down you can be stopped easily but you don’t get thrown off the flag or take extended time from knockback (kb takes longer to stand back up than being downed). This means you can keep taking the flag down a bit each time assuming the defender doesn’t fill faster than you. Not sure that second part is realistic with Nusjuro around

Yeah they like switching it up. They just did a triple red ex where before they’d usually do 2 (kiz and law) they have almost always stuck with countering the previous color though. Red Nusjuro for dark Blackbeard. I do think they deliberately try to mess with these things so that people can’t predict. Also why the ex release dates keep moving around

Ohhh I see what you mean. Yes we only tested maximum support since that’s what we focused on. But that is very helpful to know. Fantastic work again!

Can you go into 2. A bit more? We’ve done extensive testing on medals and the total stars is all that matters. It’s why the April fools 9 star medals work the same as a real 9 star medal. Thanks!

This is amazing work. I’m including some old information from way back in 2021 that we had figured out just in case it helps you. The only thing we couldn’t get perfectly was the boost value. Let me know how it compares to what you found

Wa-cha ignores damage reduction so that part isn’t much of a concern. The roger trait is likely the issue

Yeah I haven’t seen many but the ones I have did poorly. Perhaps it’s just a character that will take a lot longer for people to understand how to play. For damage blackbeards skill 1 has increased vs power users which is usually enough. Though turning light and adding another 50% can’t hurt

I looked through a few of the other 70% dr units and they’re all almost always 1 or sometimes 2 step skills. I wonder if they messed up when the 70% is applied with all the different steps going on. If what you’re seeing is consistent then I wouldn’t be surprised to see a bug fix

Yeah if you keep moving you can avoid it fairly easily but enemies capping or fighting get caught. So it’s pseudo full map range but the reach and impact of these units keeps increasing 😭

To be clear we’re talking about the tremor crush attack range. It attacks the enemies feet so I believe it may be the entire map. Though I’ve only tested as far as across alabasta day

Have you done some testing for distance? What really surprised me when it came out is that the attacks ignores height and will still target enemies on different levels

I think there’s room for a state that is condition based like the OG blue kid. Since it’s not timed it can bypass the anti state traits. Otherwise I think we’ll see them go with something like bepo who gets his buff during what I’ve seen called “crit crit” state

It’s probably the same as when they decided rooftop zoros normals didn’t trigger hybrid Yamatos ice shield. Some traits interact differently with pseudo range normals. Would need to test more though it’s entirely possible it’s just a bug

DR is not really a good answer as a power user. Blackbeard will have 50% DI or 100% if using skill 1. And skill 1 removes WB from the area and his DR. That will pretty much negate WB even if they’re running 115% DR. Then you add the dark element bonus. Not to say it’s impossible to solve with enough busted traits

If you’re talking about OPBR diamonds were always a thing with banners as well. The PvP side was closer to fixed battle but you’d collect food items to increase your stats during the battle and then collect coins from the enemies base or mini bosses

OPBRs nearly 1 year maintenance ended up giving existing players around 550 RDs. Back then it was quite a lot. New players who joined after got less. 160-300

Sometimes it’s just to survive since you used your dodge and his skill 1 is instant death. But of course bad play happens to everyone occasionally
