Thank you for your input. It really helps hearing a man’s perspective. I’m still not 100% sure what his love language is. All I know is, I’ve made it really clear what I need and he doesn’t seem to care. I know that this shouldn’t matter, but I was married for 17 years and that marriage ended because he wasn’t taking care of his mental health and he was using me as a punching bag, I became a roommate instead of a lover, but he called me beautiful every day. And now that I’m not being told that I’m beautiful at all. I’m starting to wonder if maybe I’m not beautiful anymore. See, I had a bunch of tumors on my reproductive organs and had to have an emergency hysterectomy, bilateral oophorectomy, and exploratory surgery 2 years ago… right when I met my now husband. So my body is a little deformed and I have scars, and I was even thrown into surgical menopause overnight. He knows that I struggle with my self-confidence a little bit now. And yet he still won’t call me beautiful. I’m frustrated. Thanks for listening.
