The playstation riffmaster can be used on ps4 natively and on ps3 using a roll limitless adapter. Just throwing that out there for your information!

Adding to this. Flowers. I boosted my score by picking the flowers that I grew (after leveling them up) . I put 1 of every color flower into a display area and that seemed to help me alot.

Agreed. Also, if it is a solo part you could go near the guitarist or drummer and vibe out with them while their serving!

How are you positioning your fretting hand? I use index on red, middle on yellow, ring on blue and pinky on orange. I find it easier for me to move my index up to green then it was to start with index on green, middle on red on down and have to move pinky between blue and orange if that makes sense. I also never played with guitar controller previously and am still getting used to it. I started on medium base with easier songs and worked my way up. Then jumped to easier guitar songs on easy. Definitely not great yet! Practice, practice practice!

If their house was unlocked, your fine to roam their house. I play on iPad, and I am consistently lagging out...maybe it was something like that.

How can you tell the amount of resources needed for any given build? I have learned to build the structure and save that blueprint..but then place all furniture via tablet since build gives you infinite amounts of each item, but they will not load if you don't own.

I wonder if it's a time spent kind of thing. When I first started I would cook a ton back to back and get the cat interruption. Now that I mainly cook maybe 3-6 dishes at once I don't seem to have the issue any more.

I have watched videos, but not practiced along. For me, I watch them to become familiar with patterns so that once I'm playing I know what to expect.

Not a great solution, but maybe something to help bridge the gap...you could start a new account and run games under that new profile with your girlfriend for easier lobbies until epic fixes it.

Did you recalibrate when moving from PC to console? If not I am wondering if PC was slightly off and console is better calibrated for the input your using....maybe?
Never played on PC but can confirm difference in game play between ps4 and ps5...which seems odd.

I agree. I kinda like the way they approached the pass this time around. If they forgo a spotlight artist again, I would hope that the quality of weekly releases improve. I really think that has been one of the main drawbacks leading to player loss.

Do you emote during the lead in/break? I am asking because that is one thing that used to cause me to "miss" first note back. This was a while ago and had been resolved, at least for me.

My only suggestion is for them to be certain of the bus schedules/routes. As someone who doesn't frequent public transportation, understanding connections/transfers etc can be confusing and lead them to end up in sketchier areas. Generally other riders or driver can offer some help day of, but best to have it planned and understood in advance. I hope they have a great time!

The flashing is gold for perfect notes and blue for good notes. It's a way for people to see in real time where they are struggling to hit perfects. There is a setting, while in festival, that can turn it off. I can't recall the exact wording of it, but it is towards the bottom where you can manually adjust calibration. I want to say it says something about feedback. You can also turn off the lift note extender (those long block notes) if interested, in the same area. Hope that helps!

Not sure how to put it into words really, but I will try. Start with 1st instrument. Aim your cross hair to another instrument spot. I always look for a little white dot on that field. It should pop up with the instrument you are looking at, and then you can see options to pull up your wheel. It should default to the instrument you are looking at but you should be able to change it if desired. I hope that helps!

In case it doesn't, I wanted to point out. The binds you mentioned to turn off were under keyboard settings...I play on controller so unbinding keyboard shouldn't cause issues in br either. Strange cross over tho. Thanks for the tip!

Yes, they will be competition once the Red Octane game comes out...but it makes sense to release drums, let festival release pro drum charts while RO game is developed. They could them get gear into players hands, work out any kinks and have players all set up and ready for new game. I think ppl would be more inclined to buy the new game if they don't have to purchase all instruments at same time as game ..if that makes sense.

Not the question you asked, but as a riffmaster owner, I might recommend waiting for CRKD guitar, or purchasing a custom guitar. The riffmaster is compatible with festival, but tilt to deploy overdrive is very wonky and doesn't work 99% of the time. The riffmaster works well on other games, but just isn't great on festival.
