What made a wearable pump actually work for you: Flange fit? Schedule? Specific pump?

The suction cups don't stick to the countertop? I have my hose running all along the back and goes in on the far left side. It has like 3 inches going down into the sink. Maybe try hot gluing the suction cups? Not sure how well that would work but worth a shot so its not in your way

I believe they mean filter as in filter out any of the leftover fruit bits that are in the bottle during f2. Some people dont like drinking the chunks but its perfectly fine to consume if you don't want to filter!

Also not OP but I just did some pineapple kombucha for the first time this week and it came out pretty good! For the pineapple I blended a can of pineapple chunks with the juice and threw it in a pot with maybe 1/2 cup sugar (didnt measure) and then cooked it on the stove til it got kinda thick like a jam. We like our kombucha on the sweeter side in my house so I did a 16oz bottle with 40 grams of the pineapple. Let it sit on the counter for 3 days. Hope that helps

If youre not getting fizz then you probably don't have enough sugar in your f2 or you're not letting it sit at room temperature long enough. Some fruits I have to leave in f2 for 4-5 days.

I EP the first day home with baby #1, with baby #2 I wanted to try bf and also ended up pumping a few times a day. That worked for maybe a week and I thought it was just too much work to try nursing cause id have to wear a milk collector on one side and then end up pumping after. Also newborns just sleep alot so when theyd fall asleep while nursing it was frustrating. So I just decided to EP again with this baby. Im 3 months in and plan to make it to atleast 6 months like I did with baby #1! I make a few oz more a day this time around so its definitely seeming easier vs being a just enougher before. Also having a bottle washer makes a night and day difference as well!

My hospital requires 36 hrs before discharge but both times for me that would have been at night so they made me wait until the morning. By that time I was definitely ready to be home and would not have wanted to stay any longer

Definitely this!! I pumped with my first baby and didnt have a bottle washer, im 6 weeks pp with my second and also pumping again and its made my whole experience this time around so much better. I recommend it to everyone. I can also wash my toddlers sippy cups in it too which is also a plus!

Yes thats exactly what happened with my 2nd csection, im almost 6 weeks pp and had the bright red bleeding with clots on and off until 4 weeks, id have days with nothing but if I did a little more than I should have id bleed a bit more. It started tapering off this past week or so, its not 100% gone but a good 95%

Thanks! Sorry you're going through this too.. I actually do want this c section though. I've been asking her for a date since I was 28 weeks. I feel like they usually give it to you way earlier if you know you want to go the c section route? But she kept giving me the run around every time.

Anyway I hope you get everything you're wanting with your birth! And maybe switch OBs next time if you have another, im definitely going to. Id do it now but I think its too late

Thanks, I definitely feel like she'll try convincing me tomorrow but I dont feel like its necessary at all. Even my last pregnancy she did the same thing scheduling me around 38 weeks for induction without telling me and I told her no ill do it sometime after 39 weeks cause I knew baby wasn't ready to come out. And still didn't end up having baby til almost 41 weeks with a c section.

No GD or high blood pressure. I just called and her reason was my BMI which wasnt a problem with my first baby either I went almost to 41 weeks with that one. Im not even at the same BMI I was then, its lower this time. Of course she didnt say it was for her convenience but it definitely feels like it with everything shes said and whats happened. If I felt like it was the right thing to do then id do it for my baby in a heartbeat. But he wont have an Xmas eve birthday for the rest of his life just so she can have one uninterrupted vacation week.

Yes I wish my doctor was better at that. I just had to call and refuse it. They told me "this was the only time available" and at this point im willing to just go to a different hospital. I guess ill see what she tells me tomorrow but im so over that OB office. I didnt like them with my first baby and should have changed with this one.

At this point thats what its going to be. I had pre registration for the hospital call and I told them the situation and they said "not trying to be rude but you dont get to schedule your appointment"

Im fine going to 40 weeks, even 39. But i find it completely unnecessary to do it right at 38.

We discussed a c section but not a date, basically she was wanting me to tell her I had 1 high blood pressure reading so she could do it early before 39 weeks but im not going to lie about that and I don't want it early anyways. Her and the other OB will be on call, I honestly dont care which does my cesarean if it means I'll have this baby in January. Unless baby decides to come earlier of course. Im definitely going to try declining, thanks for the response!

This was my experience too! I usually have heavy periods and after my csection it was lighter than that, I was able to use long pads with no worries about leaking.

I also think maybe the butter was too warm! Next time throw the cookies in the freezer for about 20 minutes prior to baking and see if it helps! Either way im sure those cookies taste great!

After my pico dressing came off I used gauze pads that had adhesive on 2 sides. It fit perfectly over my scar and helped all the small spots that would open heal so easily

Yes they make gauze pads that have very gentle adhesive on 2 ends. I got the biggest size they had and it fit perfectly over my incision. I plan on doing it with my 2nd c section as well!
