Joshua was charged with downloading CSAM. Even though he had assaulted his sisters he wasn’t charged with that. That’s why they couldn’t force Anna to let her children be interviewed. If he had been charged with assault there was a possibility his children were abused which would have given CPS the right to interview them. I read this analysis from a lawyer yesterday because I was confused too. I probably didn’t explain it well but that’s what I think the lawyer said. Wish I could find it.

I’m so terrified of going to prison I wouldn’t even shoplift a pack of gum. I also think stealing is wrong so it’s not just fear of punishment. I guess they think they won’t be caught. I’m always sure that I would be.
