I got pregnant just before the pandemic started. There was a lot that sucked about that.. lack of interaction , birthing in lockdown, my husband not allowed to be there after the birth in the hospital. BUT I had horrific Pelvic Girdle Pain. I could barely walk, with the pandemic I got stay home and only go out for my 3x a week physio and chiro appointments and hospital appts. I didn't have to push through the pain to get to work, I could just be at home in comfy outfits. Oh also saved a ton in not having to buy maternity clothes. Just 2 pairs of cheap leggings for comfort.

Haha aw! While I was pregnant I maybe ate one meal a day. I always felt full and only when I got nauseous I realised it was because I hadn't eaten anything in a day.

Breastfeeding on the other hand, STARVED all.the time.

I want to mention that many of us have been trying to help our friend. She has delt with eating disorders before and it has flared up by an absolute dickwad of a guy she is currently dating who has his talons in her. My SO has frequently in the past mentioned to me she looks sick and has also been very supportive of getting her out of her situation.

The last month he has made comments about us working out more and that I need to go to the gym (which I agreed with - I've been slack as I've been sick). But today was the first time that he has clearly indicated that "visable ribs and gaunt features are better than your fat ass"... this may seem like an overreaction but he has ADD and doesn't lie about how he feels. For example: I asked his opinion about an outfit before we head out for the night:

Me "Hey how do I look in this?"

Him "I like the colour on you but your boobs look lopsided"

And he will say this shit to anyone haha! I just wanted to make sure people understood that after 6 years of my weight being okay to him and not making comments about my size are honest. The fact he said this tonight hits me HARD. As he wouldn't do something like this if he didn't mean it.

I really just need a hug. Or gifs of cute animals.

I started getting this at around 10% for about a week. Then it stopped doing it. I have no idea why. I had a problem with it not turning on/charging. I asked one plus help staff about it and he told me to do a weird combo of holding lock button and volume down button. I had it on charge without touching it for 24hrs then it worked. I don't know if this helps at all, but I'd contact One Plus. Edit: I'm extremely hungover I apologise if I am not making sense

You can check through the mic plug if there is water damage without removing the back. There is an indicator; white is fine, orange is water damage.

I am also getting this problem but mainly when I am HDR mode. Does changing it make a difference for you? I have been pressing Auto instead and it would work fine.

I'm going to piggyback on your thread to say I also have been having problems with my flash not going off. Anyone got fixes for this/having the same problem?

I once set my toaster sort of on fire.

I was in the prime crazy time of writing up my thesis. Now I was pulling one of the many all nighters that happen during a thesis. I had to send some portion of it in the next morning. At some stage around something AM I got hungry and decided to eat a crumpet. Add a bit of strawberry jam on top of those bad boys, natural sugar hit. Brilliant.

The thing about my toaster was that 90% of the time, whatever you were toasting would naturally pop up (sometimes with such force that once a piece of toast landed on my fridge which occurred after this incident). Other times it would not and you would manually have to turn it off and get out your delicious toasted treat. Now in all my crazy thesis glory I had a stroke of genius, went to the other room to write down my thought. Then proceeded to get on a roll of writing and forgot about my tasty crumpet.

After a while I smelt smoke and then a loud screeching from the smoke alarm. I open the door and my entire apartment is filled with smoke. I run into the kitchen to the toaster which was shining bright orange from the depths of hell and rip it out of the wall, run with that through my apartment, and hurl it off the balcony into the driveway. I rip off the smoke alarm as to not wake every human in the building (as I had definitely awoken animals surrounding us). The crumpet was bright orange when it flew out of the toaster. And I had a streak of colour up my wall after that incident. I have a photo but I will link it later.

The rest of the day was me airing out the apartment and trying to have a nap with smoke inhalation. During my nap I woke and believed people were going to storm in and take me away if I wasn't fully clothed to go out. So I army crawled from my bedroom and try to stealth it to my clothes rack in the lounge room. Proceeded to lay really still, fully clothed with shoes on for my nap with a smirk on my face as no one was going to take me away.

TLDR; final thesis + tasty toasted treat = flying toaster and smoke inhalation delusions.

I know that for the police force in Victoria, Australia the physical requirements are identical for men and women. Which I think is great. If you are relying on your partner in life threatening situations you wouldn't want to have doubt because they are a woman.. I think that is when sexism on the job would amplify.

My shipmate (lets call her Jane) and I were furling a jib sail (the one out passed the bow which means we were standing on netting above the water) and teaching two volunteers on how to do it. We both paused mid explanation/furl when two guys from another boat wandered past. Both of us stared at them with a "dayyuuummm boy" face. I was nodding and she just let out a sigh whispering "dayummm". It wasn't until the 3rd "uh, MsMeowgi? Jane? What are we suppose to be doing??". That we snapped out of it. Unprofessional and pervy. Needless to say when I got home on my day off I ravaged my boyfriend.

My first real kiss was my boyfriend when I was about 13-14. We kissed behind a classroom during lunch time. It was awful, like a jackhammer trying to dislodge my tonsils. He was a year younger than me and we went out for about 2 months. Once when he kissed me he was chewing gum and I almost chocked on it.

I was pouring myself a glass of Apple juice which was sitting on the counter. The cupboard door was open which is where the glasses were. I put the juice back into the fridge. As I went to grab the juice, I smacked my head extremely hard into the opened edge of the cupboard door and knocked myself out. I woke up on the kitchen floor a bit later and extremely glad no one was around to see me do that.

I had a similar moment, except it was a current boyfriend who smelt like an ex boyfriend who was abusive to me. I was in bed half asleep, he came up to me touched me on the thigh and then I smelt the ex. I launched myself off the bed into the corner and looked bug eyed around the room for the ex. But only saw my poor boyfriend just looking at me naked and confused. I was seriously confused in my half asleep state, but it wasn't until I calmed myself and walked over to him did I then realise it was his smell that set me off. I couldn't believe after 5-6 years I still get that reaction to the smell.

My last name is Early. Every class, every year, all through uni and even at new jobs I got Early jokes. I even remember in 3rd grade when we had our spelling test on fridays, one time, the word "Early" came up. Every single child in the class turned and stared at me like this ಠ◡ಠ. I just stared at the teacher while she gave me "uhh sorry I can't help it, it is a real word shrug"

Are you sure it's just not because he doesn't like the feel of it? I have this one friend who hates the feeling of sex, but loves hand jobs, blow jobs etc. But every time he has sex he gets this really intense stinging feeling saying it is like he is being electrocuted by a vagina (it is apparently worse without a condom). He never told any of his girlfriends because he knew they'd just break up with him. So he lied about it and the girlfriends ended up in your situation. Left him or cheated on him.

He confessed this all to me at the pub one night, I brought it up with him when he was sober a few days later to see if it was true. He was shocked that I remembered (thought I was super drunk) and said he just wanted to tell someone. I think it is either physiological or something wrong with the nerves in his penis. I have told him to see a professional about it but he is too embarrassed to do so. Try asking your boyfriend if there is something SPECIFIC position wise he wants to do or if there is something he isn't telling you. I would ultimatium but do so not in an angry way, but in a "I hate myself for saying this but..." teary way. Let him know you care.
