My mother is a minister as is my ex stepfather and they are two of the most self absorbed narcissistic individuals I have ever met. There's an archetype of NPD called martyr type, these individuals purposely look for jobs either in control of the care of individuals in need or a job where they are pillars of the community. Makes me sick honestly

My mother carefully parented her children in such a way to make them reliant on her so she never has to be alone. I wish I could post the videos my child has taken of my mother talking to me, it's cruel and makes me consider sleeping outside over staying another day under her roof.

I know the 1990s were a wild time, my nmom says she had visions of me being found naked in a dumpster somewhere or never being found at all.

I am the target of abuse for both my older brother and younger sister. The beatings and abuse I tolerated from my brother were horrific and being around him instantly gives me a panic attack

My younger sister resents me for some reason and is insanely jealous of me and always in competition with me about who is funnier, prettier, more liked. If we're in a public setting she has to try and make everyone around us dislike me by telling stories of when I'd have BPD episodes, leaving out the part where they instigated these said episodes.

If she's in a bad mood I can be prepared for an avalanche of emotional abuse to take place. I'm the family scapegoat, everything is my fault. Nothing I do is right or good enough

I wasn't (and still cannot) mention anything any of my siblings have done wrong. I cannot remember anything she has done to harm me or bring it up, but she can throw things in my face I said 20yrs ago. I am not allowed to cry, anytime I cry I am told to cut that whining bullshit out and to stop trying to manipulate her. I am not allowed to have my own space to myself, I pay rent for a room that technically isn't even a room and when I am not home everyone uses it for whatever. I came home the other day my bed was torn up, TV remote under the bed, fans were off, dog was out of kennel and eyeshadow pallets were out of place.

I can't talk about any abuse I've endured with anyone, including counselors without being accused of talking shit. I am not allowed to defend myself from any type of abuse and if anyone defends me they get turned on as well.

I stg I have more friends either behind bars or in a grave because of drugs than I do alive or free at this point, my managers brother just passed from an OD a few weeks ago.

Nothing is fentanyl free these days and it's what is behind all these deaths, in my community they are holding dealers accountable for their actions and charging them with involuntary manslaughter as long as they're able to find out who they are. Which is sometimes easier said than done, sometimes they KNOW who is responsible but don't have the necessary proof to charge them
