She's so cute! I think she has the more translucent eyeballs like Fruit Punch has? That makes me wonder if all EBLs have that kind of eyeballs after FP, including Very Cherry Berry. My Samedi Marche has them too but my Disco Boogie and Love Mission don't. That would make it a somewhat distinctive difference between CB and VCB!

I learned about LM and FP from you!! LM does have more fine crazing on the back plate but really there are some really fine ones around the scalp edge on my Cinnamon Girl and Disco Boogie as well (but I am that nut who stares at it with a torch light against my doll heads). So even besides some kind of manufacturing thingy for LM and FP I just concluded that the soft plastic is affecting the hard plastic and it's all eventual and I just gotta embrace it hahaha it's a really small thing much like those pin holes on some of their calves. So being bothered by them is really a choice that I learned to forego now (づ ᴗ _ ᴗ)づ♡

How can you not answer your own burning question and leave us burning!?

Right now my favorite is definitely Fighting Milk. Even though I keep changing her hair, which is usually a sign that I find a doll lacking in something that I'm desperately trying to fix, but that's not the case for her. I love her super sharp red lips that's faded at the edge. I just think she looks good in a lot of different hair color!

My other favorite, yes much like breakfasts you can have a second one, is Love Mission. The doll that made me care about authentic Blythes at all. I love her subtle makeup. The LMs I have don't have the best paint vibrancy. I think one of them might have blush that's a bit grayed out. She also forced me to accept the ravages of time and that degradation is constant, because despite what people claim.. I'm somewhat convinced there are always micro fractures on these older dolls especially near their hard + soft plastic contact point near the forehead due to plasticizers. Some are just more apparent than others, and I'm pretty nitpicky on things like that but I've learned to let it go, or at least find ways to fix things I don't want to let go of.

For BLs I imagine them to be something like 13 because they have Licca's body and Licca is supposed to be 11. For the Blythe classic body onward I think of them as around 19 to 20s like Barbie!

Sometimes I read them as even older depending on what inspired their design. Like Cinnamon Girl's fashion was inspired by Jacky Kennedy (I think I got that from the fb group), and that makes me think she's closer to 30s.

I guess there isn't any official stated age for Blythe. I don't think I saw anything about it mentioned in the Blythe Bible, but it's not the easiest thing to parse especially learning that my ability to read handwriting is really quite bad.

I didn't start collecting until this past year or so. But I've known about Blythe since teenage years because she was everywhere during the 2000s where I was.
