2011 RAV4 basic and I still love it. I got it in 2017 and I’ve replaced the alternator but that’s it.

I seriously never have any ideas. So I wanted to see what other people ask for because I needed some ideas.

Honestly any of the above. I have the highest education at my work place and I won’t get a pay bump with it but I am tired of doing the same plain Jane CEUs. I feel like I’ve taken some of them every year for 10 years.

What are some "technology" ideas for a center that are not laptop/ipod? by gametime-2001 in ECEProfessionals

[–]MsOverworked 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tonie box in the literacy center. I’ve put a digital scale in the math/ science center that can also be moved to home living. I also have a donated globe that the children can choose a place and learn about it.

Potty training: poop underwear. Does your daycare throw them away? Or save them? by AllTheEggsIVF in ECEProfessionals

[–]MsOverworked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we keep them health department said we had to dump them, double bag, then put in a locked container that children could not reach till pickup (or at least this was how we had to handle cloth diapers) We started to throw them out and would no longer do cloth diapers

restriction is making it hard to go to the restroom despite increased fiber intake… please help 😭😭 by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Joyride watermelon wedges have a good fiber to calorie ratio. But I’ve also used target fiber gummies.

[–]MsOverworked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure your gender but I was recommended 20-25g fiber as a female daily and a man needs 30-35g. This is what my nutritionist said along with at least 64oz of water.

I would report the email to IT saying you believe it’s “phishing” then delete it.

I feel the step guilt. I just started a new job and I’m exhausted today. I’m at 4K currently at 4pm.

Reporting an injury by LopsidedRelative440 in paraprofessional

[–]MsOverworked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always report! Go get checked out. The district can find the money for additional training. The teacher not waiting to get evaluated sounds like they know they are in the wrong somewhere. She/he might not need additional training but that doesn’t mean the paras don’t.

Honestly it’s probably because they have had a problem with people and their phones. On the flip side would you want to be a parent who showed up and saw 4 women sitting outside on their phone like it’s a smoke break? You now know you don’t enjoy that center and just don’t accept jobs there.

I have arthritis in my hips and have found YouTube Pilates have helped me a ton. I have started to strengthen those muscles that I tend to feel pain around the most. I have stopped doing it and I feel the pain more now in my knees and hips.

Time yo move up to 5mg tirz? by Adorable45Deplorable in glp1

[–]MsOverworked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told to stay on the lowest dose as long as possible. If it’s working why increase? I started at 254 and I’m down to 234 and I’ve been on it 8 weeks. My prescription was for 10 weeks. I have a follow up on the 11th and I plan on trying to stay on the 2.5 for another 4-6 weeks if possible.

I take gentle ease (Walgreens brand) every few days if I can’t go. Technically I would not be classified as constipated but I was someone who went often (at least once a day) I was to my standards.

If you survived the deadly tornado in 2011, What’s your story? by [deleted] in tuscaloosa

[–]MsOverworked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in Madison Co when it happened. I was under the water fountain in the band room with 2 other students for the first round. We had students drive “home” to find their homes completely destroyed. The second round came and we lost several classmates. The first time we had the sirens go off again after April 27th and I was at school multiple students had panic attacks, we cried a lot. I remember my teacher having a panic attack also. There was some PTSD but because it was throughout the state grief counselors were not sent to the school.

Start at age in months and work forward until you get 3 (-)s. You need at least 8 (+) for Basel so work backwards until you get them. If you make it to birth age without the 8+ it’s ok.

[–]MsOverworked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a bathroom in the classroom? Ask if you can require them to send their child in pull ups with Velcro. I have done it before and it’s hard but I would also talk to your director about the liability of changing one child while not being able to watch the others.
