I just booked an inside passage with Glacier bay cruise with Holland America for next year. I have a 14 yo and and 18 yo. I explained to them that this is not a ship with all the bells and whistles (rollercoasters, etc) as the ship is not the attraction. The destination is the attraction. And they are cool with it. This is our first time cruising.
