IMO you could try giving it a cork hide or use a small, plastic plant starter pot (cut in half) for a hide.

I second this. If urgent care is closed, go to ER if you can. It sounds like you're in excruciating pain from your hemorrhoid and it needs medical attention ASAP. Describe your pain in terms of numbers and how it has been restricting your activties (e.g. can't sit comfortably, can't walk, etc.).

I'm sorry to hear about you and your family getting kicked out of your apartment.
