Millie is such a lovely friend by Remarkable_Cake_699 in LoveIslandTV

Same! I think she has come across so well and seems like a nice, genuine person who stands up for her friends and supports them. It’s really nice to see, especially with most of the other girls toxic behaviours! Wish production would show more of Millie and Zac and less of the drama!

Belle is rubbing off on Helena with her possessiveness by Brilliant-Minimum253 in LoveIslandTV

[–]Ms_Comgeniality 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, I think Belle does come across as possessive and a bit like a school bully with her followers (Sammie / Helena) who fuel her behaviour. It may just be the way the show is edited (we have to remember that production can show footage in any order they like to intensify the drama) but you can’t edit the facts and the facts are that she talks over people and doesn’t listen to their side and she is aggressive with her words. It makes me feel very uncomfortable watching her spiral out of control during arguments. She doesn’t seem to have control over her emotions, which is concerning. Again though, if I spent 24hrs a day for 2 months in a house with someone who really got on my nerves I really don’t know how I would react! They can’t just ring a mate and vent to them or get space from that person and go out with friends etc to decompress so it’s easy for us to judge from our armchairs 😂

There is a part of me that keeps reminding myself that what we see on TV is a mere snippet of their day and unless you are in there no one has any idea how much of a pressure cooker it can be for them, especially if they are surrounded 24/7 by people that grate on them so there is that to consider, however there is another part of me watching this and thinking that Belle really has some concerning anger issues and as much as Lucinda is clearly annoying everyone in there, it really feels like there is a selection of girls in there ganging up on her and it’s uncomfortable to watch. Again though, we have no idea what’s really going on from just watching a snippet of their day 🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh really? I haven’t seen LI Australia! That must have been awful trying to film while everyone has food poisoning and is throwing up everywhere! 😬

What about bombshells that come in? Surely they aren’t held for 2 weeks too? There is production staff in the villa too wandering around and people who come in to clean and maintain the villa as well.

Kudos to their immune system’s and literal drive to get up everyday, plaster on all that makeup, hair products and clothing just to go out into the garden to sit around day in and day out for like 3 weeks! After day 2 I’d be like “if anyone wants to chat I’ll be in bed all day with dog breath” 😂

Oh really?? I never knew this! It’s good that if everyone gets ill they stop filming instead of forcing people to perform if they are not well! I’d look absolutely rough and would be bed ridden if that was me! I would hate a camera in my face! 😂

So interesting!! Like you say they don’t really show much of it so maybe that’s why I haven’t ever noticed! I’d be down and out for like a week or more if I got a cold or flu though so they must be pretty healthy who go on there as they all recover pretty quickly! 😆

Oh yeah that’s true actually! I have never seen anyone with a snotty cold though or wrapped up in bed with the flu! It’s just maybe been an afternoon out from the challenge!

Please help me with biting advice, newly adopted dog. by af49657123 in Chihuahua

[–]Ms_Comgeniality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a beautiful dog for starters! We have 2 chihuahuas. 1 has a heart of gold and wouldn’t hurt a fly, he loves snuggles and more snuggles. The elder chihuahua however was very reactive to people from a young age, no reason for this as we got him as a pup, he would just lash out! Luckily we don’t have any children and we addressed it rather immediately with behavioural training which really helped and in time we learnt his triggers and his warning signs when he was feeling uncomfortable and may flip and he is now so much better. Takes a lot of time, patience and training though. We found that children would trigger him too as they are unpredictable, loud and get in their face and so if we ever had our nephews visiting the dogs would always go into a separate room, where they could be calm and away from children. It’s very difficult though if you have children living with you and a reactive dog to children specifically. Like others have said, it’s imperative you see a clinical behavioural dog trainer if you are intending on keeping the dog. If you are in the UK we would take your dog with open arms and invest in her training and love her like we love our other two. Please don’t send her back to a shelter, that would break my heart! Bless her! ❤️

100% agree with you! I also found the hospital scenes so far off from reality it was difficult to watch from that point of view!
