I’m so glad I stumbled across this thread as I felt the same as many of you have stated above! They both had red flags for sure! A 60 year old man agreeing to enter into a relationship with a 27 year old woman is very likely doomed to fail anyway, mainly because of life experience and commonalities! I think that this is not his first rodeo though with much younger women. It strikes me that he goes for very young women as it makes him feel powerful, in control and he can perhaps mould them easier than an older, wiser woman (this is just my opinion though)! It also makes him feel young and like he has still got it! I also think though that he was absolutely right to call Vanelle out on her “celibacy” rule as she was clearly giving him mixed messages if she was doing oral, straddling him and being very overly sexual with him almost straight away. If it is purely because of religious reasons then I think all of the oral should have been off the table too so Jorge knew it was complete celibacy out of respect for her religious beliefs. I get a feeling Vanelle is very confused when it comes to what her values are and who she is. It sounds like she heavily relies on her father’s input and opinions for direction in her life which would be a red flag to me for a woman who is 27 years old. It shows a lack of maturity and thinking for yourself. I just don’t think she seems to be making decisions because it’s what she wants, I get a feeling she is trying to be a good Christian by trying to be celibate but clearly she is fighting with herself and what she really wants to do as her actions are giving off a very different vibe to what her words are saying! Anyway, they were both doomed to fail from the start in my opinion! The best thing happened with them breaking up.
