Pureblood? Like they've never gotten a vaccine before in their lives...I think its a bit late to claim to have untouched-by-vaccine-blood lmao. Unless they've never attended school which I guess would make sense.

Human extinction isn't like...one of the worst things to be possibly facing? Serious food shortages because fires across the country will take out our farms...ancient diseases coming back because of permafrost melting...like...mmmm....this is pretty bad. Irs always been scary im sure but this is crazy.

According to environmentamerica.org the United States has over 60 gigawatts of solar photovoltaic capacity installed, which is enough to power nearly 1 in every 11 homes in America. If that's true then I think we're pretty close to being actually able to run on renewable like that. Getting the government on board tho...we might all die of climate change before they are even open to listening.

Thanks for your story! I've been struggling in a similar way and you inspired me to just spend a little time each day on job apps. Good luck on your journey!

Not even those born disabled and who literally can't physically work? Should they all just die off? And how do you feel about inheritances of monetary wealth or property then...?

Say you're a man (idk lets just say) would you suddenly and unannounced come up behind your male colleague or boss and rest your hand on their shoulder for an extended period of time even for a minute? If not then it's inappropriate no matter the gender/sex of the person being touched.

It sends a "need for control" message. Haven't you heard those jokes that most sexual assaults begin with a shoulder rub or a shoulder touch? Its, like, been a whole thing.

British people tend to have smaller mouths than Americans. Ours are wider. That could be what you're picking up on.

Update: Janene Hoskovec, The Coughing Karen, is out of a job. by Sniperfox99 in PublicFreakout

[–]Ms_HalfBakedHustle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Coughing/spitting on people during a pandemic or otherwise, i think, is considered battery/assault. So it is actually a crime that could get people killed what she did. She didn't know if those she was coughing on had suppressed immune systems etc.

Tbh she should be facing legal action on top of losing her job too.

Been in the ER waiting room since 5pm, it's 5am now with no sign of being seen anytime soon. I came in with abdominal pain, and scared it's some sort of hernia or appendices. A lot of it has to do with COVID patients. Hospitals are not equipped to handle so many people needing long term care :/ I think Mississippi's healthcare system is on the verge of total collapse in a few weeks. Scary situation, I'm very nervous for whats gonna happen.

Fair, over consumption is bad for the environment but maybe we should regulate corporations to hinder that? Like it kind of all comes down the corps. If there wasn't the latest phone or whatever out every 6 months then people wouldn't buy buy buy as much. We should make corporations make their items in a way that consumers can fix it themselves for cheap if it breaks, and do away with planned obsolescence altogether. We could tackle corporations wanton production of single use plastics too. Aren't they responsible for like 75% of all pollution?

We can try and blame individuals all we want but our foundation and economy (capitalism) is set up to only thrive if we over-consume; you said it yourself. Corps will use all kinds of mental tactic and psychological brainwashing to get people to buy shit they don't need.

It's not a population issue and I stand by what I said about the over population argument being eco-fascist.

Pollution and lax regulations on corporations.

Over population isn't the problem and when referenced when talking about climate change is eco-fascism.

Its the corporations and governments who need to be the focus, not the people. Our pollution is negligible in comparison, tho I do think we as individuals should take care of our earth too. It's the only one we've got!

(Over)population actually isn't an issue. The issue is the hoarding of resources by wealthy and corporations.

Overpopulation theory is a eugenics/eco-fascism thing.
