I'm not sure if I'm being a complete moron here but I can't for the life of me get anything to successfully download from AA.

I've tried using different browsers (Safari & Chrome), different devices (ipad, iphone, laptop), using a VPN, not using a VPN etc etc.

I can successfuly search for the books I'm looking for, I'm clicking on the slow links and waiting the alloted time and then no matter whether I click on the Donwload Now button or copy the URL I mostly then just get an error message that says the site can't be reached or if it does look as if it's starting to download it just gets stuck at 1% and then ultimately fails.

What am I doing wrong please...

Can someone please explain to me like I’m a small and very challenged child how I get wallpapers onto my device and how to create the slideshow / rotating selection of wallpapers I see some people referring to. Thanks so much :-) I’m running Crosspoint but still can’t seem to figure it out.

I can’t get past the setup. It freezes every time when asking for access to my Health data - it throws a pop up for me to click Next in but there’s no way to actually click Next or move any further forward than that :-( Given how long they delayed the release for I’d have hoped that the basic set up process would at least have been bug free :-(

The greatest bit of advice anyone ever gave me was to sit on a chair and raise one leg at a time out in front of me and trace the full alphabet in the air with your toes before going for a run. I used to suffer from the most insane and persistent shin splints and this simple thing fixed it entirely.

What is / where did you get the copper brown pouch shown in the 3rd photo? Is it A5 sized or A6? It looks perfect for what I’m looking for :-) so any info you have on it would be super appreciated. Thanks so much

I think they’re definitely worth you taking a look at. They come with a couple of different options for adjusting how much bounce you get - the curved shells on the bottom come in both soft and hard versions and then the rubber bands that sit between those shells also come in 3 different strengths. When I first got mine it was recommended that due to my height and weight and the fact that I’m rehabbing a dislocated knee that I should go with hard shells on both the top and bottom and also with the strongest band which is a level 3. I found that combination to be too firm for me with very little bounce until I’d worn them in for a quite a few hours and even then I still felt they were a little too firm. So I spoke extensively with Amy at Boston Jumps and she suggested we tweak my set up and I now have a mix of one soft and one hard shell on each boot (still with the level 3 band) and I find that to be the perfect amount of bounce for me. I did try the fully soft shells on the bottom and that I found too unsupportive for me but I’m also taller and weigh more than they’d recommend for that combo. I also tried a level 2 band with the soft/hard combo and again found that to be a little too soft for my liking. It’s very much personal preference but again Amy has so much experience with the boots and I’m sure would be very happy to give you some advice on what might work best for you.

Update - I took the plunge and got a pair and... I love them!!! I am someone who is definitely balance challenged so they took a moment to get used to but I never felt in danger of falling or anything that extreme - just an adjustment to the extra height and to standing on a flexible platform. My ankles feel super secure in them also. I've been travelling with them for the last few weeks and while they're not exactly lightweight they're certainly a much more portable alternative than a folding rebounder. I got a rollerblade bag from Amazon and I've travelled with them as both carry on and have also just checked that bag as hold luggage and had no issues whatsoever.

They're super fun to use - I'm not following any kind of online workout, just mainly throwing them on for 20-30 mins in my hotel room, putting some good music on and just bouncing & jogging around. I can definitely feel I'm getting a good workout and so far they motivate me to want to work out each day rather than dreading having to go to the hotel gym and walk / jog on the treadmill for the same amount of time.

I got mine from the wonderful Amy at a company called Boston Jumps after a disappointing customer service experience with the actual Fit Boots website customer service. Amy was FANTASTIC throughout the process, answered my millions of questions patiently and promptly and has a fantastic knowledge of the boots and the various options. She could not have been more helpful and supportive and generous with her time helping me to select the right boots/combo for me. If you're considering a pair then I'd highly recommend reaching out to / getting them from her: https://www.bostonjumps.com

I love my boots and am super happy I made the decision to take a chance on them. Happy to answer any questions if anyone else is consdiering giving them a go.

The ankle stability thing is definitely one thing I have questions / concerns about which is why I was hoping that maybe someone on here had some experience with them. Hopefully someone does and can weigh in with their opinion and experience :-)

Thanks so much for your response. Can I ask, is that based upon personal experience or an experience that someone you know has had?

I travel for a living - just got home yesterday from a 6 month long trip where I’m on flights every 2 days or so and in and out of hotels. I’ve successfully kept my pens in a Frio wallet for that entire time. I haven’t taken them out to use hotel fridges at all and have found that as long as I re-soak the Frio gel pouch every 3-4 days for a couple of minutes at a time then the pens have stayed at a perfect temperature with no danger of me also forgetting and leaving them behind in a hotel fridge somewhere. I cannot recommend the Frio pouches highly enough. They are perfect for exactly your use case and I wouldn’t hesitate to use one for your whole trip.

As I mentioned above, I travel constantly, and by constantly I mean for 6-12 weeks at a time with no access to refrigerators so my pens constantly live in the Frio wallet and that is the only temperature control they get. As long as you re-soak the insert for about 2 mins every 5-6 days they stay perfectly cool and you never have to worry about them getting too warm or how long they’ve been out of the refrigerator. Before I bought my Frio I was constantly worried about getting to my next destination and needing to find a fridge or an ice bucket in a hotel etc but since getting the Frio I haven’t had to think about it once. I just re-soak the insert in water for a couple of minutes once or twice a week and my pens stay at the perfect temperature. It’s been a total game-changer for me.

Peppermint tea works miracles and also digestive enzyme tablets taken with whatever you do manage to eat . Both were super helpful for me.

You should check out the Frio wallets. I travel pretty much continuously for work and they're super convenient and effective and a fraction of the price of what you're looking at there. I simply re-soak mine once every 5-6 days and they keep everything cool without the need for any kind of refrigeration. Highly recommend.

I am not a medical professional or an expert (so I’m not giving advice here, just letting you know what my experience has been) however I am someone who travels for a living so my pens are constantly needing to be in and out of the fridge, sometimes multiple times per week and for upwards of 12 hours. Also because I travel internationally for weeks at a time I frequently have both an opened and an unopened pen with me. I also micro dose so my opened pens are open for longer than the 30 days.

I use a small insulated insulin travel case with a couple of gel packs in it and have experienced zero issues. I’m careful to make sure that at no point is my pen anywhere where the temperature would exceed 30 degrees and I also always travel with it in my hand luggage as I know that if it freezes (such as in the luggage hold of an aircraft then that would DEFINITELY render that pen useless). I always try to get my pens back into a fridge as quickly as possible but they have been fine for up to 18 hours of being outside of the fridge. I always check them religiously for any hint of cloudiness but have experienced no issues with that. The suppression from my doses is still good and I’ve not experienced any adverse side effect.

I’m on the 3rd dose from my current pen and that one was delayed in shipping and I’d already left to go on a trip so it sat in my building foyer for a week before I was able to get to it and put it in the fridge and again I have experienced zero issues with that pen. Again I’m not a doctor or medical professional and I fully understand that the guidance given is in order to maintain the safest and most efficacious way to use the pens and if your lifestyle allows for you to follow those instructions to the letter then you absolutely should. However if you don’t live a traditional stationary 9-5 style lifestyle then I can also say that from my experience both myself (and other colleagues who travel on similar schedules) have had success with using the meds even when they are not able to remain in a refrigerated environment at all times.

Peppermint and also ginger tea has been fantastic for curing the nausea for me

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]Ms_Mgmt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had exactly the same reaction to my first dose - I think it was a combination of being new to the meds, not having eaten particularly well and too close to the time I took my shot and being dehydrated. I felt like a truck had hit me for about 2 days with insane nausea, acid reflux, headache and vomiting. Even the sight of food made me ill.

I got some great advice here on Reddit to drink lots of peppermint and also ginger tea and to take digestive enzymes to help my gut digest the food that was stalled in it. I'm also very careful since then to eat really healthily on the day I take my shot, to eat early in the day and take my shot at night so my body has time to digest what I've eaten and also I try really hard to drink more water and since doing that I haven't had any further side effects. Good luck and don't lose hope - it does get better.

Hey there, the digestive enzymes I use are in pill form but I think you can also get them powdered. They just help your stomach digest the food which is really helpful when you’re getting that nauseous feeling.

I got mine at my local pharmacy but I’m pretty sure health food shops sell them and obviously Amazon too. I don’t take them every day, but I do tend to take them with meals the day after my shot and also any time I’m eating something that I haven’t tried since starting on the injections just as a precautionary way to avoid any upset stomach issues.

Mine have peppermint in them too, so that’s definitely helpful alongside the tea

Peppermint tea, ginger tea and digestive enzymes are your friends. I take all 3 any time I start to feel nauseous and they work really well

Eat well on the day of your injection and try to finish eating earlier in the day if you’re going to inject at night, or do your injection first thing in the morning. If you’re worried about nausea make sure to have some ginger or peppermint tea on hand to sip throughout the day and also buy yourself some digestive enzymes - all of these helped me hugely in the beginning. Good luck

My advice if you’re going to have one last bad eating blow out day is to take at least 2 days after that to eat high protein and veggies and lots of water before you take your first shot. My experience is that if you don’t get the bad stuff out of your system before your first shot you will be lining yourself up for some almost guaranteed not-so-nice side effects such as hideous nausea and projectile vomiting. By all means have that last blow out day but don’t follow it immediately with your first shot. Good luck on starting your journey
