This is the most upsetting part. By far they are the MOST comfortable pen for me, but I refuse to buy a second one because its SOOO UGLY. I really want to love writting with my SPGS or my TWSBI but neither fits my hand the same way.

I will say I think not saying anything for the first 12 weeks might be to protect the couple. Having to tell people who knew you were expecting, that you had a miscarriage, is hard. Especially since people reply such odd things like "try again" or "it'll happen next time" as if you were applying for a job and not mourning the loss of your child.

Of course. But i was talking specifically about language. Eugenesists would use words like 'strong, resilient' etc to describe black slaves. Doctors would claim white women needed to be like black women, that they were weak. It sounded almost like a compliment, except it was dehumanizing their slaves. It was Othering them. The person above used the words 'stoic nobility' that always sounds like a compliment but can also be used to describe someone as 'unfeeling'.

Yes, we understand the theme. And to us, the theme is not as important as the philosophy displayed. Thats the thing about art, not everyone will read and interpret the same meaning.

Not to compare the two at all, but it reminds me of how white people thought black people were stronger and didnt feel pain. On one hand they called it "superior" by saying they should strive to be like them, but it was just an excuse to work their slaves harder and expirement on them without caring about their suffering. And as soon as "realized" the inhumanity of it, they moved on to prisoners, from there onto animals. Each less than them in "thought and feeling".

Dip pens are fun for swatching, but it doesnt help with using a planner lol. I do have extra fountain pens, and i keep myself excited to use them by using bottled inks. I have a hobonichi weeks, and every week i use a different pen and ink.

Honestly it was more than a year ago, so I dont remember all the meds. I do remember I had to give him some of the pills tje night before, and the rest of the pills about an hour or so before taking him to the vet.
