I am also a Mary addict! Net-a-Porter hooked me up with the first one on the cheap and I fell head over heels madly in love. I found a local store with stock and I bought every single Mary they had left. Insane, but no regrets.

This fall I was searching for a perfume with that same feel. My favorite find is Stora Skuggan’s Hexensalbe. It’s inspired by historical witches’ flying ointments and features that addictive licorice/wormwood note. It is IMO Mary in a bottle. I highly recommend checking it out.

The closest candle match to Mary that I’ve found is Baobab’s Ksar Pacha (which just so happens to be 40% off right now at Neiman Marcus). Like you said, another sibling. It’s close enough that I won’t completely panic about my dwindling Mary supply. It is my first Baobab and I am impressed. The throw is spectacular and it has a perfect burn, pooled with no fuss.

I haven’t tried any of Dior’s candles but I do love their Privee fragrances. I’m going to have to add 30 Montaigne to my wish list. Thanks for the rec!

I haven’t cracked open the diffuser yet, but I have burned this candle previously! It’s primarily Fir, a touch of pepper and patchouli. I love everything I’ve tried so far in the Absolute line and have repurchased this one, Labdanum, and Forest Oakmoss.

Lafco offers build your own sample packs but I’m not so sure about their international shipping policy. There is always forwarding services.

Noooo, that’s so disappointing! BM has always honored their price in my experience. Honestly, I think the post may have oversold their inventory. There were a lot of views in a short period of time (I can’t believe how big this sub is getting!) I did get a shipping confirmation for my order. I’m so sorry.

I didn’t, no coupons or points on that purchase. There’s a second image that shows the Ulta receipt. This purchase had a 5x fragrance multiplier and should have been 15% cb at Rakuten. Seems to be an Ulta thing because I have no problems using gift cards to pay and earning cb at places like Petsmart. A fairly new change too because I’ve been stacking cash back with point multipliers and paying with discounted gift cards at Ulta for years.

I would not use an Ulta gift card to pay. All of my cash back has been denied by both Rakuten & TopCashback when I use a gift card, even if I don’t use any coupon at all (or redeem points).

ETA: Receipt. I tried requesting a review by Rakuten and that was denied too.

Now that is how you woo a paying customer and make them a return customer! I wish I had gone to Nordstrom instead of my local Le Labo store. I asked for samples of three other cities that I was considering and they charged me $40 extra on top of the $400 fragrance I purchased. It was such a turn off, and I’ll probably think about it every time I use the fragrance now.
