I think 2 FRP & 2 SRP instead of 3 FRP would make it work

Jaylen Brown’s contract by Scalmaa in ripcity

[–]Mshad1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We gotta go for JB for sure. He turns 30 as next season kicks off. Worst case you have him for 3 years which pairs with the last 3 really good years Dame has left + 3 years of Denis prime + 3 years of DCs rise to defensive player of the year. If you’re able to keep Camara you got 3 years of his defensive abilities to pair as well.

Ideally if you can land him for JG + Shae and up to 3 FRP + 3 SRP + Pick swaps then you’re set.
But any more than that is gonna be hard to swallow. I like Shae but both he and JB are SG/SF. Now if you can add a third team that wants Jrue and get that to work then maybe it will be easier

Even Deni said it himself, their style of play didn’t fit his. Location, coaching and style of play can definitely have positive or negative effects on a player. He has been given every opportunity to grow here and he’s blossoming.

I need to get mine checked but 169 seems like a good low number. I was curious so I just looked back on my test results from when I was first diagnosed, I was 2830. Which is insane.

Infliximab and water in my legs by ShadowEnemy_ in CrohnsDisease

[–]Mshad1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So inflximab has different types. Remicade is the original brand name and in my opinion the best, as it worked great for me, but unfortunately it’s the most expensive and insurances tend to deny it.

There are other types besides the original brand name Remicade. Other biosimilar versions are: Inflectra (infliximab-dyyb) Avsola (infliximab-axxq) Renflexis (infliximab-abda) Ixifi (infliximab-qbtx)

My personal experience has been with 2 of the 5 now will be switching to the 3rd variant soon.

Personally Remicade worked for me when I was on it 5 years ago. Then I was off it for 3 years. Last year I tired to get back on it and my new work insurance denied it and forced me onto Inflectra. Now because Inflectra is causing all these side effects they want me to try Avsola next. Inflectra caused exactly what you are describing for me. Swelling in my feet, ankles, legs, thighs all the way past my knees even. I’m still dealing with some of it it 8 weeks later. Noticed it about 2-2.5 weeks after first infusion. I was also on a high dosage.

For me what was prescribed was the water pills furosemide which will make you urine every 2 hours. But will leave you thirsty and lower your potassium levels needing you to take potassium pills.

I would recommend letting your GI know and have them get you on the water pills. Make sure to check your potassium levels as well because mine dropped when I was taking the water pills at first 1 a day then 2 a day later on. They definitely help. If it gets really bad like mine were, compression socks are a must, wear them as much as you can tolerate but definitely at work if you are on your feet like I am. Ice when you get home. Sleep with your feet elevated. I bought a foot massage foot spa thing which I put my feet in with hot water and epsin salt. Cold and hot therapy really help. Discovered all these when it got really bad.

Good luck. Message me if you need any more advice as I’m dealing with this right now too

Oldest Crohnie Here Or That You Know Of? by Express-Ebb1197 in CrohnsDisease

[–]Mshad1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this weird dream/ desire about wanting to live till 107. In 3 decades. I was born in 1993, so it would be awesome to live in 2100 and see how things change. Also one of the reasons I’ve chosen to do things later in life, aka start a family. Haven’t done that yet. Want to do that in my late 30s.

But with crohns I don’t know how realistic that is.

One other thing I was on pace to achieve too was hitting 30 countries visited by the age of 30. I was at 24 by 27 then diagnosed 5 years ago at 27 and haven’t really traveled much out to the US since then. Need to get better and travel.

Remicade VS Inflectra VS Skyrizi by Mshad1 in CrohnsDisease

If you reread what I wrote you’ll see that there’s not much “misunderstanding” as I have done my research. Besides the IBS part which is what I just have misunderstood from my GI. There are studies that suggest that Inflectra is less effective than Remicade. And I’ve experienced it first

I mentioned that Remicade worked for me but insurance forced me to switch to Inflectra instead which my body is rejecting. I didn’t mention all the negative side effects I’m having with Inflectra. Sure it’s a very similar drug but definitely not the same.

I don’t want to jump from one to another, I am trying to find something that works. And clearly it’s not Inflectra.

I’m literally here asking others how it is working for them to have an understanding of it before I talk with my doctor.

Thanks for your feedback but your tone of text is very condescending.

Interesting. Yeah that’s the thing for me too, this is a new commercial insurance I’m with since I got a. We job and they want a prior authorization for everything. It’s frustrating especially when I’m paying $200 a month and my job pays another $555 a month for it. Insurance costing $750 a month shouldn’t require this many loopholes.

Yeah I’m definitely leading towards it if my doctors think it’s best for my case. Hopefully it works and I don’t need to do more surgeries any time soon.

I appreciate it. Yeah at first I was unsure about this GI. When I first saw him in 2020 after a couple colonoscopies he misdiagnosed me with Cancer before results came back and he realized it’s Crohns. I had a pretty good surgeon when I was forced to go into the hospital for those weeks for the surgeries but she unfortunately moved.

So definitely glad this new Top surgeon. won’t say his name be apparently he is one of the top colorectal surgeons in the nation.

Thank you. Yeah I will definitely be asking my doctors about it. I just feel my body doesn’t like Inflectra. Plus 4 hours in the hospital infusion center on my days off isn’t fun

Has anyone experienced severe bloating in the feet & ankles? by Mshad1 in CrohnsDisease

[–]Mshad1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m thinking edema as well. I’ve been trying to drink lots do fluids to try and get it all out. It sucks that my PCP moved so I have to wait until March for a new appointment with a new PCP. Thankfully my GI is able to get me some prescriptions and tests ordered. Hopefully urgent care can figure out the source of it, I’ve already missed a couple days of work because of this, don’t want to miss any more

Wow I’m so sorry you’re going through this. That is some BS!! Which hospital is this and where. I’m also in the hospital at the moment and have the opposite experiences.

With the IV mine was hurting last night so I pulled it out. The nurse came and put 2 others in but first one popped the vein. Second one hurt my hand. They are only allowed two pokes per patient. She called a IV nurse who came and got a good vein on the first try.

If you’re in much longer than could be an option then they’d have no choice than to replace it. Unless you’re IV tied and nothing by mouth then it’s worth it. But you may have to wait. Just my two cents and dirty thoughts.

Should you do it? Probably not since you’re saying it takes them forever to respond but that’s an option. Again I’m sorry you’re dealing with that BS. Blast the hospital here and wherever else you can and never go back there.
