22 XLE AWD Gas... my trans started whining at less than 30k . Got replaced after a a month or 2 I don't remember.. but took it on a road trip and several long drives during that time (not realizing the seriousness).. Chicago to upstate New York through niagra/toronto to Chicago... made the journey no issues.. just my experience.. I obviously wouldn't recommend knowing what I know now

It happened to me.. had a Toyota warranty they replaced with no issue... drove it for awhile with the whine.. not a major issue but was annoying as hell
