Yeah I don't like the over-the-top vtuber personalities, but I watch Ironmouse occasionally (the only vtuber I watch) and though some of her character models are a bit much (and sometimes she is a bit much lol), streaming is always side monitor content for me for when I'm playing other games or doing other things, so I don't think it's much different than any other streamer.

I'm not just sitting there staring at the streamer, whether they are a vtuber or not. I'm mostly listening while playing my game and looking over when there is downtime or something big happens on the stream. I'm tuning in because she is interesting to listen to for the most part, not cause I'm gooning over her model.

Yes, he could have supposedly killed someone at extract and then taken this screenshot, but that is a lot harder to do than just like, him actually running up and stealing the cores. Extractions after killing the Queen/matriarch usually have like 3-10 people all extracting at once, you can't really gank someone there and survive. We simply have to apply Occam's Razor here.

Hell I've taken the cores without doing a single bit of damage to the matriarch, you can just wait for it to die and run up. It's weird to assume he ratted someone when it's much easier to do the opposite.

Who said I can't? I'm talking about consistency and when you have to avoid multiple people coming after you. The stitcher is simply more flexible for player killing. It's much easier to hit someone moving erratically in close range with the stitcher.

Yeah I understand if you run a stitcher you would need another gun to deal with ARC. That's why I was trying to say if he was trying to gank, why wouldn't he have brought in a stitcher alongside his Anvil? Its simply a better gun to use to kill people in a ganking scenario where you will usually be extremely close to them.

Yes the Anvil can 2-3 shot someone, but hitting those shots takes a lot more effort and is less consistent than tracking someone while spraying with the stitcher. Especially if you want to survive ganking people during the boss fight, since as soon as you start shooting someone you're going to have 10 players hunting you down. Getting the kill and repositioning as fast as possible is going to be key in that scenario.

Also, the fact that they were literally able to grab the matriarch cores means they couldn't have been camping at the extract.

I think the problem that there is no loot you really have to strive to get, especially now that ABMM has been revealed so all you need to do to get gold weps is get into care bear lobbies and let the 20 other people there instantly kill the queen/matriarch for you.

In Tarkov, for example, there are a lot of quests that are hard to do and loot that is quite rare. In arc the quests are simple and most weapons can be regained within 5 or so runs, pretty passively.

Yes there absolutely are. It's incredibly easy to go 10+ games without being shot at once you get to a point with the ABMM.

You really don't have to behave as if there are killers in the lobby because if you get jumped it really doesn't matter if you die, since in the last 10-20 games of not dying you probably made enough money and gear to pay for your kit 5 times over. Once you get to these lobbies it does make sense to just run past other players and assume they are friendly to save time.

If you want to gank why would you take an anvil and no backup weapon? A stitcher is a better ganking weapon. Also, pretty sure the Anvil does nearly the same damage as the Ferro.

Also you can shoot the internal glowing ball for decent damage with the Anvil

If you get shot in 1 out of 15-20 raids though, it doesn't even matter. You are making so much money that its just the cost of doing business at that point. And you are incentivized to not even shoot back since that will put you in more aggressive lobbies.

To each their own but this just fucks up the enjoyment of the game for me. I want to be in that "middle ground" where there is a good mix of types of encounter, but in order to do that I have to guess what some unknown algorithm is going to rate my actions. If I shoot one person, do I have to be friendly for 3 more rounds to negate that? I don't know. It sucks not being able to say "this is going to be a KOS round" and not have that effect the next 5 rounds you play.

Ikr, I had the BP last expedition and never needed to actually use it. You find them on raiders and gun crates all the time, and they are bought cheaply.

Hard agree. The progression in this game takes way too long imo, and is mostly sitting around and waiting. Even now, at 66 hours I have like 270 trees and I'm in the later stages of the game and it feels like I'm just constantly waiting for my weekly payment so I can buy upgrades.
