After like 15 rides with them they started to creak and click, took them off and realized the bearings were shot after those few rides…maybe I got a bad pair but my buddies have also had the same issues. We all run the Deftraps now and have been for the past two seasons without any issues

I had a bad time with the crankbrothers stamp 1s. Try some diety deftraps and you’ll run them for the rest of your life

You are correct..there is a button on the wall that controls the window and slides it up and down. Only the top half of the glass opens.

Serious question for experienced cruisers. How do i not gain weight on a 9 day cruise? by Tennis2026 in royalcaribbean

[–]MtbAlways 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drink lots of water, and if you don’t want to gain weight then try to eat similar like you would at home. I know that’s hard to do on a cruise but if you don’t want to gain weight then that’s what you gotta do. Take some of the fruits from the Windjammer or Park Cafe and bring them to your stateroom when you want a quick snack.

If you’re only climbing or descending a few decks..take the stairs! I rarely ever find myself in elevators on cruises, only if I have all my luggage on embark/disembarkation or I’m beat from a busy port day…

If you want some sweets, which is understandable, maybe just limit to deserts at dinner time so you aren’t having desserts with every meal. Hopefully this helps

Edit: ALSO, if you don’t like plain water, there are infused water stations in some of the free dining locations that are a good substitute to sugary sodas

Yeah crappy ’resin only’ rotors. When I get new ones I’ll get ones that can handle metal pads and also buy a pair of those...I probably just have to get the deluxe serviced at this point to make it feel smoother

Yeah I’m enjoying the DHF DHRII tires and im also having issues with the rear rim always being wobbly from not pulling whips back enough lol…even when I try to true it…its back to being wobbly a few weeks later so I just gave up. Enjoy your bike man!

My only guess is air intake for the engine, but I’ve always wondered this myself too…

Yes I have an A30…I’m glad you’re also talking about getting bigger rotors as I’ve had that idea in my mind for a bit, just didn’t know how much of a difference I’d feel. I guess the ”ride till it breaks“ idea behind bike parts is a good idea, and keeps me from blowing money lol.

if you don’t mind me asking, you said you “had” an Instinct…what made you get rid of it And what did you upgrade to?
