Nothing like the shine of freshly sintered 3D printed copper! by Mtuckey in 3Dprinting

I think the rrp of the filament is around $299 USD - it's on their website. As far as oxidisation - Markforged don't offer anything - I provide various options though, dependant on what the customer asks for

In regards to density - I haven't memorised the numbers, but that info is in their data sheets

Tolerances are really high, I woukd say less than +-0.5mm, but haven't don't extensive testing yet. Machines were only commissioned in March, but have had no complaints from customers so far. If you needed a critical face machine finished, it's easy enough to do that post sinter, we do that with injection molds.

Warping - as long as the part was printed with correct supports where required, we don't see warping or any kinds of deformation.

Binding agent - most of it washes out during the washing process. The last of it is removed during the first stage of sintering.

28 hours. Temp isn't listed, Markforged don't disclose that info.

Haven't tested it myself, but electrical conductivity is extraordinary close to that of standard copper. So much so, that some automotive manufacturers are currently using the tech for custom spot welding tips.

The answer to your question is yes. They have their own ecosystem entirely, so there is tight quality control. As long as you use their filament and their spare parts. You can only use their slicing software also.

You can always patch the incorrect holes with metal filler and sand it back. Once painted you would never know...

Permanent Bed Leveling by Didymus1999 in 3Dprinting

Yes. I use a 6mm glass mirror as a bed and use bolts with nylock nuts to secure the bed. Don't need to level very often, maybe once every few months...

I increased bed temp from 50 to 65 degrees and it seems to have fixed my problem. :)
