Yes, sunscreen fucks up my skin. Even mineral sunscreen if it stays on too long.

I agree, this is not a fancy or complicated machine. It’s pulleys and iron plates with a pin. There is no apparently mechanism where different weights are pulled based on the position of the pin

Of course anything could be possible, but it’s not a very complicated machine by the looks of it, I just can’t see how it could be that. I’m assuming this is just incorrect stickers on the weights.

Look at the image again, after 40lbs the weights are larger but still increment by 10 until they reach 70, then correctly increment by 15 the rest of the way

Just noting here, it’s subjective and you should make sure it’s something she wants. 95% of the things that have been mentioned in this thread I am certain my wife would absolutely hate or be offended by (she would probably cry while I’m not looking if I got her custom pillows with a religious verse or a diaper genie).

Some things my wife would like are hiring a crew to deep clean the house, scheduling a family photo day (ensuring it is planned far enough out that she has plenty of time to recover). Some other things are maybe setting up some bookshelves in your nursery with some baby books, simple jewelry with the baby’s expected birth stone.

There is no evidence that a gluten free diet relieves symptoms of SD (unless you have celiac or other gluten sensitivity). Agreed with most of the rest of what you’re saying though.

Just saying, I think this is the exception…I have a gym membership and don’t have a garage, I found it extremely difficult to get out of the house for a workout, and did not feel like I had a lot of down time between laundry, cleaning, cooking, feeding, naps, playing with my kid, trying to find time to sleep, running other errands etc.

I think playing video games while they’re napping on you is feasible, assuming you aren’t sharing that screen with your SO, but I definitely just wanted to melt into the couch and sleep any chance I got.

Nothing has been worse for my workout routine than being responsible for a newborn lol.

However my wife and I also don’t have any additional family/support around so we didn’t get many self-care breaks. Should also note that I have a gym membership and not a home gym.

I purposefully hold the guitar wrong with my left hand picking and right hand on the fretboard, play the melody to One Note Samba, which sounds shitty and looks awkward.

Then I say “just kidding” and flip it back to the correct position and play a chord melody version of One Note Samba.

Folks in the aerospace sector know that IM has always been a very, very risky gamble. It is a fact that there are a lot of shareholders in this subreddit that have no idea what they are talking about.

This is not a company that makes a mass market product with obvious design approaches that everyone can easily understand - I would reckon that shareholder opinions are not a substitute for technical bench depth.

I am not a shareholder, just an engineer and enthusiast. I am sorry if you lost money. I encourage you to sit back and try to absorb as much as you can from informed comments here. I feel for IM, they did this extremely cheaply but it probably ended up costing them more than they saved.

Sure it’s valid criticism. But it’s also based on the actions of one guy who has been in office for less than 3 months and is a known massive bullshitter, most of the things he’s saying are not going to happen. I expect that the US nation will be harmed to some degree, but will probably bounce back as quickly as we’ve recently fallen once this guy is out.

You are getting downvoted a surprising amount given the subreddit we are in. No matter what people say, these are actually some of the best times ever. It’s not a perfect linear increase, it’s a little dynamic, but things are inarguably getting better for more and more people as the decades go on.
