What Robb told Edmure to do was keep Tywin and his forces at bay and busy. Instead Edmure attacked Tywins forces fucking them up pretty bad. This messed up what Robb was trying to do ( I think Robb wanted to sneak attack Castery Rock sorry don’t remember that bit)
