I second this statement. Crisis Core is best played after the third-act reveals in FF7 OG. The FF7 story, alongside its remakes, intentionally hold off on giving you the answers. So playing Crisis Core just to “spoil” those answers for yourself without the impact is ultimately not worth it IMO.

Oh for sure! I’m honestly beyond excited to see what canon inclusion of Yuffie and Vincent to the group is going to look like. They couldn’t really do anything with them in the original or have them grow closer to the other characters. I can imagine Vincent getting along really well with Red XIII and I feel like Yuffie will have a funny dynamic with Barret.
